First and foremost, Everette is a songwriter. He's been called eccentric, extraordinary, unique, in fact he's been called every name in the book and a few that were unlisted. Listen, you decide.
Ev's played guitar since he was 9yrs old, then the Beatles came along and changed everything. He played the folk clubs in the 70's during the singer/songwriter boom. In the 80's he wrote and sang only Christian music.
He moved to Nashville in the mid-80's. Ev stays true to Memphis roots, bluesy, jazzy, rockin' and humorous. Memphis-born Everette Brown now resides outside Nashville. Ev plays guitar, piano and harmonica and is a regular addition to Les Kerr's Bayou Band.
