The band Island Fusion, launched in the summer of 2006 with an energetic frontline Burton, meghan and lisa. With Gary Trainor ..boards,Henry hastings on percussion and Geff Folger on Bass,altogether creates that unique sound. Lead singer Burton Toney originates from Trinidad and Tobago where he was the frontline singer in one of the top Soca bands in the Caribbean, Atlantik. He is known as one of the most energetic and vibrant artists in the Caribbean. Lisa Toney started singing Soca since 2002 and since then recorded with some of Trinidad's finest producers. Shel Shock produced Wine on me closer, her 2005 single which received three nominations in the New York Soca music awards. Since then she has produced with Madmen Production,Alan Brizan and Shawn Noel of Mastamind Production. Waistline, produced by Shawn Noel, has received tremendous reviews . Burton and Lisa has 3 music videos, Temptation written by Lisa Directed by Remy,Baby written by Burton and Ob,directed by Gottie and Waistline written by Lisa directed by Gottie.Meghan Trainor, a teenager with a passion for music, is a singer, songwriter, and also musician, she gathers her musical experiences from her father Gary Trainor, he has been a pass music teacher in the local high school.He also has an extensive history of being in bands and touring around the country.Meghan has produced 3 songs with New York Producer Shawn Noel of Mastamind Production,she also has an extensive range of song demos she did in her room.Shawn Robinson plays guitar and recently join the band this summer Meghan's brother Justin on bass.Lisa and Burton for 08 summer into 09 carnival, has team up with top Producers and songwriter from trinidad,Shawty and Only you were produced by Madmen Production,they also are working with ace Producer Neil Benard also songwriters Sharft and Zan on some tracks.Island Fusion, like the name, is a fusion of Caribbean music, original material, top 40 music and classic hits creating an original sound.
