"Terrific I think, we'll be playing that a lot more, cos I think that is absolutely terrific, its called Monkey Girl, unsigned but not for long one suspects" Mark Radcliffe - BBC Radio 2
Lois formed not so long ago when Johnny, Rich, Tom and Lee got together, and set about creating music they loved.
As they developed a distinctive sound, they spent time playing live, working on new tracks, and recording rough demos in their studio.
The band have now supported some beautiful bands such as Kula Shaker, Dead Disco (Victoria is now Little Boots), The Jam, Headway, Jack Butler, Underground Heroes, 747’s, The Bishops, Dogs, Nic Armstrong & The Thieves, The Draytones, and also having the likes of Mark Radcliffe show a great interest in the band, as well as playing their tracks on his show. They can now also add playing in front of the Legendary Michael Eavis to there list.
Lois are now recording their first Album at Chapel Studios with Jim Spencer who has Produced recent albums for The Charlatans and Johnny Marr as well as working with Oasis, Doves, and Paul Weller. A separate EP is also in the pipeline as the band makes plans to play all over the UK and Europe.
“All four of us in the band are very excited about the future and love what were doing. Thank you for all your support along the way and for helping us spread the word about Lois”
Lots of love from Johnny, Rich, Tom and Lee from Lois x x

Jay Collins and Mark Wagstaff AKA The Funk Junkies are Djs, producers and promoters from the north of England. Their club event 'charged' is one of the UK's fastest growing house brands throwing regular sell out parties across England, Malta and Ibiza. Last year saw the guys move up a gear and begin producing. In little under 12 months their productions have gained support from the likes of Steve Angello, Deepgroove, Sonny Wharton and more. The Funk Junkies first release on Elektriqa is a double A side. First up is Fragile, a peak time record with a simple yet hypnotic riff that definitely crosses musical boundaries. Gush, on the other hand is a dubby, twisted progressive house bomb graced with a tight and catchy lead. Keep an eye out for more Funk Junkies productions forthcoming on Elektriqa.
And if that's not your cup of tea, how about a UK exclusive show with Tyla and The Dogs D'amour on Saturday 6th June, as part of the UKs' premier sleaze & glam clubnight Wildside's 6th birthday celebrations!
Please note, this is NOT a solo or acoustic show, but a full electric set featuring all their classic songs!
Support from Silverjet, Union X & Dead Sensation!
Then not only one, but two clubnights until the early hours- Wildside and Maximum Overdrive!
