I'm a french professional musician, mainly guitarist and violonist, composer and arranger. I also teach guitar, bass and jazz violin, and I'm the guitarist of le Big Band Brass since september 1999. We've had the great honour to play under the direction of the famous canadian trombone player Rob Mc Connell and to record a live album with him : " Live with The Boss " in october 2000. I played on the records of hundreds of french and international artists. I've composed musics for: The Shadows, Vicky Leandros, Mocedades, Karen Knowles, Nicoletta, and some others. I've also played with the orchestras of Raymond Lefèvre and Paul Mauriat during several tours in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. In 2006, I issued my first solo album named " Influences ", which is a tribute to The Shadows and John Farrar. Except for the drums which were played by two friends, who are recording sessions musicians, I played all the instruments:
electric and acoustic guitars, bass, acoustic piano and keyboards, violins. There is also a big string section on two of the tunes : " Citadelles " and " Argentine ". I wrote the music (except two tracks I co-signed) and all the arrangements . When I was at University , years ago..I was in a College Big Band compitotion...I was put in the All -Star Big Band ..and Rob McConnell was the leader...He picked me out a the best soloist..and really gave me a boost in my confidence...I am sure he did the same for you.
