WXGN 90.5, owned and operated under the auspices of JOY Broadcasting, Inc. broadcasts 500 Watts @ 90.5 FM to the Ocean City, Somers Pt., Marmora, EHT area. We are unashamedly a Christian Rock Radio Station and Ministry. Playing the full gamut of modern rock featuring major label, indie, and local artists. We are an Arbitron reporting station. We were knighted the 'X' and our station tag is "Truth That Rocks". We operate under a 501-(c)3 license and are listener supported with the legal ability to be sponsored by local businesses and organizations. A recent format change has taken effect in which we play adult-oriented rock from the hors of 8AM-4PM, and then we retrun to our youth-oriented sounds. Of course, some of the bands we play will crossover for both audiences such as Switchfoot, Jars of Clay, Relient K, Delirious?, P.O.D. etc. Also, we may be adding some live news/talk shows to our early afternoon time slots. These will take up minimal airtime, not more than one hour a day. We are in the need of partners and sponsors, so if you're interested please shoot us an email. The difference between the two is that sponsors are businesses or ministries that will have 30 second or 60 second spots to mention their names, products, services, hours of operations and contact info; partners are individuals, families, businesses or ministries that partner with us w/o the radio spots and name mentions. Partners who annually donate $100.00 or more will receive a pair of tickets to a WXGN event each year. Sponsorships start at $420.00 a year for one 30 second spot during peak business hours 360 days a year. We do not run sponsorship mentions on Christmas, Christmas Eve, or Good Friday-Easter.
