About me: I have a passion for scents, a love of color and texture, and a deep desire to create and capture all things unique and wonderful. I am creative by nature and a compulsive "do it yourself-er". This makes me start way too many projects at once. I'm just the type of person who wants to do everything myself. These qualities led me into making my own soap, then lotions and scrubs, and finally perfumes.
I love formulating the scents. Scent is such a personal, expressive, and defining thing. Often times it is the very first thing that people experience about you when you meet. It can even form their first subconscious impression of you. Scent is so powerful that the mere hint of some scents can invoke long forgotten memories.
After all the time spent making products for myself, it was actually quite by accident that I ventured into my business, Wylde Ivy.
Aside from devoting all of my time to Wylde Ivy I am a mother of four month old identical twin baby girls and a wife to an amazingly creative and mechanically inclined guy. I adore the outdoors and anything that grows. My favorite hobby is photography. I love freezing beautiful images. Sometimes when I have hundreds of pictures to edit, I think that I just might take way too many pictures! I love hiking, museums, handmade items, the beach, independent movies, fish, and cooking.

We're doing good, I'm tired and Felicity wakes up 2x a night :( still, but my pregnancy is going good, i'm 18wks now :) Hayden, my almost 4yr old starts school very soon on Sept. 5th YEAH!!!
