Biography

WyldLyfe stands for unified diversity and so under this platform, each artist explores his own progression as it fuels the larger animal.

After 2 years together, WyldLyfe has been etching a name for itself throughout Philadelphia and the Tri-State area. With every exposure, WyldLyfe leaves nothing behind but open minds, inspired hearts, and one request “stay productive”. The foundation for this group rests in the hands of it’s three leaders: Chess, Poole, and Ty. Sitting at the core of the movement, they bring their own personal touches to the experience and blend Hip-Hop/Rock/R&B/Reggae (and any influence they can get their minds on) like you’ve never seen before.

The full live experience ranges the ages of 20-24 (with Bob Beach being 60) and is fronted by the three vocalists Chess (Lyricist), Poole (Lyricist), and Ty (Vocalist/Lyricist). On stage and in the studio WyldLyfe is backed by the combination of bass, electric/acoustic guitar, keyboard, drums, flute/harmonica, horns, strings and whatever else fits the moment.

WyldLyfe is inspired and propelled by the complex rythms and motifs of lyfe. Their music seeks not only to inspire those around them but to deliver these complex themes in the most enjoyable format possible. As Ty puts it, “we seek to tap into every sense that we can…even smell. You know we gotta smell good too!”.

Take a seat with any one of these young visionaries and it won’t take long to realize the passion that drives them. They really believe they are at the wheel of their own destinies - what’s more, the belief is contagious; ask any WyldLyfe fan. With the support of many local and national music front-runners, it’s almost inevitable that WyldLyfe is going to be taking the world by storm for many years to come.

They have left their stamp on places like The Apollo Theater in Harlem, Upstairs & Downstairs stage at the World Cafe Live, The China Club in Times Square, the Kimmel Center and more. Whether performing acapella, acoustic, as a full band, or in the studio , WyldLyfe chronically proves that they are the team to break down artistic barriers and hurdle any obstacle they are presented.
