About me:

After a few years of some pretty self indulgent spew about all the things I like and all the things that are important to me - carefully worded so as not to sound *too* self indulgent or pretentious, I have decided to completely strip this profile bare.

I grew tired of the dark and foreboding background promising hope for the free thinkers willing to stand up for the liberty our constitution promised us. I didn't like, or even fully identify with, the list of bands and movies and books that served as nothing more than status symbols to indirectly communicate the kind of person I am (or was) by the type of art and creativity I consume/d. I especially grew to despise the force-fed witty surveys and videos of random things taken from YouTube to show you all how interesting I am.

The thing is, I am pretty interesting. But I really prefer to learn about people and for them to learn about me in real ways. Like talking, and communicating. Not by advertising.

I'm sure I'll find something more definitive and informative to put up about myself in the future. For now, it's gonna stay blank a while. Don't let that stop you from saying hi, though. And, if you want to know what i'm doing these days, the vast majority of my time is spent playing music. I'm a busy guy. You should check out my bands, Murdocks, The Calm Blue Sea and Frank Smith... they are what I put my heart into.
