Auf nun mehr 7 Jahre Bandhistorie darf das beliebte Projekt, mit dem schier unaussprechlichen Namen, Wynardtage zurückblicken. Frontmann Kai A., der auch bei den Projekten Crucifactor, I.p.X., La Soma & Sensogen involviert ist, begann bereits 1997 eigene Songs und Sounds zu kreieren.
Später holte er sich erfahrene Musiker wie z. B. Rico S. (echoRausch), Mario F., Gunnar B. (beide davaNtage) oder auch Louis C. (La Magra) ins Boot, um die Qualität und Songvielfalt kontinuierlich zu steigern.
Mit Melanie G. (Future Trail) konnte man zudem eine ehrgeizige Gastsängerin für das Projekt gewinnen, die mit ihrer charismatischen Stimme ausgewählten Songs noch mehr Tiefe verleiht.
Musikalisch hat sich das Projekt Wynardtage im Dark Elektro-Bereich angesiedelt, und stetig weiterentwickelt. Dabei wird der Stil heute als eine „eigenständige-, unverkennbare Melange aus Melancholie und Tanzbarkeit“ von der Presse beschrieben.
Mit dem Clubkracher „Sterbehilfe“ und der Teilnahme am Sonic Seducer „Battle of the Bands wurde man 2004 erstmal von der Öffentlichkeit wahrgenommen.
Nur ein Jahr später sollte das Debütalbum „Waste Of Time“ die "schwarzen" Tanztempel der Nation im Sturm erobern. Titel wie "Du hast", "My Hell" oder auch "Figures in the Mirror" avancierten binnen kürzester Zeit zu Clubhits.
Viele Interviews in den einschlägigen Medien, Remixarbeiten und Samplerbeiträge (siehe Diskographie) sollten folgen
Das 2. Fulltime-Album verhalf Wynardtage zum endgültigen Durchbruch in der Szene. "Evil Mind" schaffte Ende 2006 den Sprung auf Platz 5 in den DAC und konnte sich ebenfalls mehrere Wochen in den Native 25 Charts platzieren.
Statt sich auf den Lorbeeren auszuruhen erschien bereits im Oktober 2007 das dritte Studioalbum "Praise the Fallen" – für viele ein Meilenstein in der noch jungen Bandgeschichte. Zeitlose Dark-Electro-Hymnen im unverkennbaren Wynardtage-Gewand, die gleichermassen harte Beats und traurig-schöne Melodien in sich vereinten, zielten mit markanten Vocals und überaus geschickt inszenierten Sprachsamples direkt auf die internationalen Tanzflächen der Clubs.
Auch „Praise the Fallen“ konnte sich in den DAC + Native 25 Dj-Charts festsetzen.
Nur sechs Monate später erschien die Maxi "Peace of Mind" und die viel beachtete Best of CD "The Forgotten Sins". Erstmals gelang es dem Projekt Position 02 der DAC Albumcharts zu erklimmen Das 4. Studio-Album "The Grey Line", welches im Winter 2008 erschien, untermauerte erneut Wynardtage's Ausnahmestellung im Electro Sektor. Wieder gelang es dem Projekt in die Top 5 der DAC einzusteigen, und somit auch die letzten Kritiker zum Verstummen zu bringen.
Mitte 2009 durfte sich die treue Fangemeinde am 2. Teil der Best of-Reihe „The Forgotten Sins II“ erfreuen. Auch diesesmal offenbarte das Projekt einen interessanten Einblick in ihre frühe Schaffensperiode.
Am 20. November wird zum 7 jährigen Bandjubiläum mit "Walk with the Shadows" das vorerst letzte Album als streng ltd. 2CD-Set erscheinen.
Allerdings bedeutet das NICHT, dass das Projekt Wynardtage aufgelöst wird! Vielmehr möchte man sich, während der VÖ-Auszeit, anderen Dingen widmen...

After reaching the benchmark of 7 years history the wynardtage project is heading to make a great review! Frontman Kai A. known from projects like Crucifactor, I.P.X., La Soma or Sensogen, started already in 1997 to create his own songs and sounds. Later he added some well versed musicians
in his network as there are Rico S.(echorausch), Mario F. and Gunnar B.(both from davaNtage)
or later on Louis C.(la Magra) to increase quality of his music and integrate new influences.
In 2008 he could engage Mel G. of Future Trail as an ambitioned guest singer for his "Grey Line"-release
to give the title more emotional depth with her charismatic voice.
From the musical side wynardtage is situated in the dark-electro area of course and has developed
constantly. Today the press characterises the style as an independent mixture of melancholie and
dancecore beat.
He could gain the national black dance-clubs in storm with his debut-CD: "waste of time" in 2005!
With the clubsmasher "Sterbehilfe" and the participation in the "Battle of the Bands" in the
Sonic Seducer mag the project could reach first reputation short before the release of the debut.
After different sampler contributions, remix work and so on the international breakthrough
was made in 2006 with the album "Evil Mind" that could raise to no 5 of the national
DAC-Charts and stay for several weeks in the Native 25 Charts!
So then it went step by step and without resting on honour nearly one year later in 2007
the next release "Praise the Fallen "came out and this was for most of the fans a milestone
in the carrier of wynardtage. Remarkable vocal samples combined with exciting melody fragments
had formed the origin wynardtage beat and pointed directly on the floors of the clubs. So this record again
stay in DAC and Native 25 charts!
After the 2008 maxi-cd "Peace of Mind" which was also featured on the Rupal Records Sampler
Capture & Tension. The fourth studio album "The Grey Line" (DAC Top5) is available since November 2008.
Finally this year 2009 will see the second release in the row of "The forgotten Sins" and the
very special 2cd-set release "walk with the shadows" to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the projects history..!
