Although the music of Wynterborne may not pose a mortal threat as Khris mentioned, it may cause high blood pressure,
induce severe whiplash, cause involuntary fist pumping and force even the toughest metal head to sing
into their hair brush.
Since inception of the band in 2005, Wynterborne has forged their sound with brute energy, and technicality interlaced with intriguing
dynamics starting with the release of their 2007 demo "Vices of Mortality" featuring members Bobby Bryant/Bass & Vocals, Angelino
Wood/Lead Guitar, Jason Barnes/Drums, and Matt Turkington/Vocals. In June of 2006 Wynterborne solidified their line up with the addition of
Elias Lewis/Lead Guitar and released a second demo entitled "Dreams and Disposition" in June of 2008. With a new addition and fresh
sound, Wynterborne has quickly become one of Arizona's most sought after metal acts. In June of 2009 Jason Barnes/Drums decided to step down from the band, and was replaced by Vince Handrick/Drums
Combining elements of heavy rhythms, melodic riffs and layered vocals is what this band is all about. Whether it's a
teeth-grinding solo or catchy vocal melodies with rich harmonies, Wynterborne delivers a stylistic approach that is often
likened to popular bands such as Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Lamb of God, Unearth, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork and
In Flames to name a few.
