The Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club was formed in early 1999 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. We are situated in the Wyoming Valley of northeast PA adjacent to the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Our club was formed by a group of motorcycle enthusiasts that wanted to give their weekend excursions some meaning and help give back to the community.
The club has since grown to well over 200 members from all walks of life. Our membership participates in a wide variety of events from local fund raising events and poker runs to week long excursions to places such as "The 1000 Islands" and Salem, Mass. Bike weeks at Laconia, Daytona, Myrtle Beach and Wildwood are on the yearly schedule as well.
We are a diverse group with riders and passengers on all brands of bikes. We enjoy the diversity that exists within our club and respect the rights and passions of all riders. Over the years our club has helped to raise tens of thousands of dollars for a number of good causes including:
Luzerne County SPCA
Shriner's Hospital
St. Josephs Hospital
St. Vincent De Paul Soup Kitchen
Toys for Tots
Teddy Bear Patrol
Several deserving individual causes
The events of other clubs in our area.
We support and participate in their events and they reciprocate as well.
Our business meetings are held at 7 PM the first Tuesday of the month at:
Ole Tyme Charley's
31 South River Street
Plains PA
We also have social meetings once a month at different venues.
Feel free to contact any officer or stop by one of our meetings.

Just want ya all to know that Rob Norton is coming along real well. He looks real good. Talking, laughing, and checkin out the nurses...lol. His knee looks to be the worst of it, and will be a long road for recovery. Show him your support on his myspace page....or stop up and see him. He is now on the fifth floor.
Hi everyone- Just getting the word out that there is a Welcome Home celebration at the Kingston Armory tonight at 7:30pm to welcome home the 109th Field Artillery.... They have been home (I believe) for a month, but this is the official welcome home ceremony. Look for me- I will be there with Adam, my fiance- this is his unit... if he did not retire in 2005 after coming home from Iraq, he would have been in this deployment...so he is looking forward to seeing his Army buddies... Hope to see some of you there :-)
