The Wystic Mankers grew out of the Tibetan Ukranian Mountain Troupe, a group of wierdo-anarchist performers who travelled the UK and Europe from the late '70s to the mid '80s. The band itself played some wonderfully esoteric music on a variety of instruments including the kitchen sink, with, as the name suggests, it's collective tongue firmly in it's collective cheek. This page is for past/present 'fans' to swap memories and maybe reconnect with people they haven't been in touch with for a while, and keep the music alive and available.

sure i just saw one of your old busses tucked under a tarp near Nenthead... Is "once in a blue moon" still available? If you need any help re-mastering etc. I might be able to help out... And can you reform so I can join? I was heavily influenced by "Wandering Will's" geetar skills , and those lovely coloured little postage stamp things that we all used to eat , bit bland tasting i always thought. Anyway , I need a biscuit , so got to go. Love and furry stuff for now Maz ( Wally Hope's Dog's half -cousin -quarter removed)

I would have seen you good people back in 83 or 84 at the Vines Cross Festival, but, to be honest, I couldn't remember what you sounded like. Now, through the virtual magic of myspace I know! Excellent stuff!
Damn - thought the old psyche was healing nicely, but there are obviously still some untidy scabby bits a-dangling off it. I suspect the initial damage was down to sharing a house with a tuba player in Englefield Green in the mid 70s. It's a long road to recovery, but one perseveres...
