The core of the band was Kelly Mitchell (voice, lyricist), Eric Alton (guitars, music), Todd Fuhs (drums, worlds greatest), Mike Davidson (bass wizard), Ted Askew (keyboards). Oh, of course, Douglas Mays was the management end of things.
Influences
Oh man, it could come from anywhere. Let me give you a few. Joy Division, Iggy Pop, Velvet Underground, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Bob Marley, Bowie, Mozart, any other talent that might cross the brain....
Sounds Like
See the influences. But actually I can honestly say they pretty much sound like X-15. A very individual thing.
This band sure made a splash in Seattle back in punk rock daze (late 70s-mid 80s). The times were the Raygun era, now we have Bush. Or now we have Obama cleaning up some wreckage. The lyrics are more relevant than ever.
So, it became time to release recordings that never came out way back then (ah, technology has caught up with us, thank god). More to come out. The skilled songwriting of Kelly Mitchell and powerful musicianship by founding band members (Eric Alton-guitars, Todd Fuhs-drums, Eric Rohrer-keyboards, Tim Lollar-bass) are timeless.
www.cdbaby.com/X-15 will hook you up with a good bio, music bytes, access to our developing web-page, etc...
This band became known as Life In General. Well, some of you might remember the band under that name.

Hey Dougy - thanks for all the comments and for viewing my "intense" page! lol Yes, it is loaded with action, huh?! Glad you like the "Boris the Spider" tune -- didn't know that Entwistle wrote it! I've gotten hooked on playing that "Halloween Hangman" game that you can find just above my friends on my page. I get a kick out of hearing the Skeleton in the game talk to me while playing - he's quite a character! lol Well, it's another rainy day here in Baltimore, so I'm being lazy and watching the boob-tube this afternoon. Hope you enjoy your weekend! xoxo, Phylbert
Well, the clowns have left the tent and been replaced with a Fun House of Horrors and spooky things! lol Check out my new profile page and enjoy the entertainment within! Hope you're having a great week so far! xoxo, Phyllis
LOL on your recent comment! Glad you enjoyed my "clown" profile page and videos so much! I've now posted my new "fall season" profile page and music. Enjoy the crisp air that autumn brings your way over the next couple of months! May the multi-colored leaves blanket your world with beauty (until they die, the trees are bare, snow begins to fall, and we start shoveling our ass out of the drifts)! lol xoxo, Phylbert
Welcome my friend, please excuse us if we already sent this to you, the more people coming together and helping spread awareness is more powerful. I started writing Just under FIVE Months ago and have had over 15,500 blog reads and over 10,000 profile views!!! I must be doing something right!! People from all around the world sending there success story’s to me how I have inspired them in so many ways! It is so wonderful! I can translate!!! You must be a wonderful person to care enough to take your time to help spread awareness. I look forward to knowing you. I overcame DV thru practicing what I know about the law of attraction. My passion is to teach others how they can do it as well. READ MY STORY!! Look for… “THE BIG BANG, My husband tried to kill us both, then when he failed, he killed Himself” I was abused as a child then it followed me into my relationships as an adult. I HAVE TRIUMPHED OVER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. In Love & Light, Michelle Miller P.S. Sign my guestbook

Hey Dougy - congrats on solving the "puter" issues! Yeah, they can be a real pain at times, but sure is a fantastic thing when they're in a working mode and running at the speed of light ! (Yeah, right -- like we'll ever live to see THAT speed)!! lol It's all I can do to see the light of day each morning! lol Actually, the uphill battle here in Baltimore hasn't changed much for me lately, but still climbing. Going "home" (to NC) to spend the last two weeks of September with my Dad, so looking forward to that. Will be playing at the fairgrounds tomorrow (MD State Fair) for my last fling of the season -- people watching (what better place to do THAT !!) and getting my annual cotton candy sugar fix after getting dizzy while riding the swings. Already had my roller coaster fix for the year at Hershey Park last weekend. Back was sore for two days afterwards, reminding me that I'm not a kid anymore! lol Getting old really sucks!! Just when you think you can still "nip it in the bud," .... the Bud (weiser) nips ME in the butt! lol ;) Have fun this holiday weekend and don't "labor" again until Tuesday at the earliest! xoxo Phylbert
