I would like to introduce myself as me myself and I.
Then someone would ask who this "me" is,
because she calls herself me too.
Up until I was four years old
I thought everyone knew who I was.
When someone asked me what my name was,
I answered them in amazement and confusion.
Why don't they know my name?
Why don't they know who I am?
Then I realized that only if I was a princess,
then everyone would know who I was.
Today I'm older and somewhat still confused about who I am
and what my purpose in life is.
My heart is torn and I fear the unknown.
I am a flower that is quickly fading.
I can be here today and gone tomorrow.
That is why it is best to live everyday to its fullest.
Live as if it is my last day.
Who am I?
So insignificant,
but yet the maker of the heavens cares to know my name
and loves me just the way I am.
Perhaps this is the only question life really throws at us.
It feels as if I am running a hundred kilometre an hour
in the wrong direction.
Is there anyone who falls and who fails?
When I take a look around me,
everybody appears to be so strong.
So therefore I act as if nothing is wrong.
If I can make them all believe, that I am strong,
maybe I will believe it too.
Am I really what other people think I am
or am I only what I know about myself?
All I know is that there is a better way to do something.
I know I can accomplish that
when I try my best in everything I do.
and I know people will know who I am
if I live my life in His ways.
May the words I say and the things I do
be an example to others
so that I have lived a life that is worth following.
