| General | My main interests are reading and writing (I'm not so hot on the 'rithmatic.)
I play the keyboard after a fashion and I'm learning to play the guitar. I still suck quite badly, but I'm making progress. Being devoid of all natural coordination, synths are my friend.
| | Music | This is what I've been listening to lately.
 | | Movies | My favourite film is probably Blade Runner- the Director's Cut, obviously. I got the Definative Cut on DVD the other month and was surprised to see that it is only 13 years in the future. Bring on the flying cars!
| | Television | I only watch two programmes on TV with any regularity: 24 and Lost.
I've even got out of the habit of watching the Simpsons, which I used to do religiously. I'm a big fan of Family Guy, but can't follow it on TV as it keeps getting moved around. So I buy the DVDs...
I'm also quietly impressed with Ashes to Ashes (the Life on Mars sequel, not just the David Bowie song.)
| | Books | Neuromancer is my one of favourite books, but, like Balde Runner, it is beginning to date as it was written in the Cold War and the politics of it is a little squiffy now.
Dracula is a classic. Not only is a great example of an epistolatory novel, but it captures the Fin de Siecle era perfectly. Plus, it's got the Count!
I recently read House of Leaves which was not only very, very spooky, but also very rewarding giving the nature of the beast.
