    Greg's Interests
GeneralMy main interests are reading and writing (I'm not so hot on the 'rithmatic.) I play the keyboard after a fashion and I'm learning to play the guitar. I still suck quite badly, but I'm making progress. Being devoid of all natural coordination, synths are my friend.
MusicThis is what I've been listening to lately.
MoviesMy favourite film is probably Blade Runner- the Director's Cut, obviously. I got the Definative Cut on DVD the other month and was surprised to see that it is only 13 years in the future. Bring on the flying cars!
TelevisionI only watch two programmes on TV with any regularity: 24 and Lost. I've even got out of the habit of watching the Simpsons, which I used to do religiously. I'm a big fan of Family Guy, but can't follow it on TV as it keeps getting moved around. So I buy the DVDs... I'm also quietly impressed with Ashes to Ashes (the Life on Mars sequel, not just the David Bowie song.)
BooksNeuromancer is my one of favourite books, but, like Balde Runner, it is beginning to date as it was written in the Cold War and the politics of it is a little squiffy now. Dracula is a classic. Not only is a great example of an epistolatory novel, but it captures the Fin de Siecle era perfectly. Plus, it's got the Count! I recently read House of Leaves which was not only very, very spooky, but also very rewarding giving the nature of the beast.
Heroes...Is a song and an album by David Bowie.
