Heyyy, I'm Alex, I'm 20 years old and I live near Boston, ever heard of it? I'm a Junior at Stonehill College, but I've been in Melbourne, Australia since July and am so incredibly happy to be here. This is the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life to date. (I'm so done with the whole school thing but I have this inner driven desire that just won't let me quit so I just keep on going with it...But hey, my parents are sure proud, I think). I've been a cheerleader all my life; it's what I love to do but this past year and a half, I've stepped away from it and it's a nice break but I miss it too. It sucks not being able to define myself by what I do any more...it's also refreshing to start from clean. But where the crap do I go? Maybe I should take up dancing. I'm the type the type of girl that will bust out laughing in dead silence over something that happened yesterday. Running into the sea fully clothed and dancing in the rain sounds like a good day to me, any day. I think everyone looks sexier with a guitar strapped on them. Sleeping is an artform and I am Picasso. I enjoy the simple things in life...No money? No problem. You know those girls who when you take out on a date just like won't eat in front of you? I'm not one of them. I think people stress out too much...just lay back, chillax, and enjoy life....(they think I'm just lazy...it's partly true). I really want a ducky alarm clock that quacks...otherwise, I just hate alarm clocks. Oh, and I totally plan on getting a Dalmatian and naming him Dipstick. (You watch, I will). I love laying in the grass and looking up to the sky. I'm just looking for someone to lay with me. You know that point where the sun touches the sea? I hope to make it there one day. I love that feeling of a changing season, when cool air rolls in, and you can feel the freshness with every breath you take in. I love the crisp smell of fall, the freshness of change. I also have this constant desire to in some way stand against the grain and it usually involves dress, hair, and myspace display names. Bland is just so unoriginal. I'm single and loving life... And I'm marching to the beat of my own drum (It goes something like boom boom de boom, de boom, boom de boom). I'm not actively looking but I wouldn't mind meeting a nice guy. I don't really have a type...although for some reason I tend to go for older, not THAT old, you know what I mean. I only wish that you have a passion in life, love to laugh, and don't mind a girl who loves to have fun (everything in moderation). I'll never make the first move though, so don't be afraid to approach me. I don't bite...well, unless you ask ;) I love walking barefoot in the sand, feeling it crinkle beneath me. Sunset is magic, and sunrise is wonderful. Every day is a blessing and I take it not for granted. Count your blessings, not your problems, and please don't follow in my footsteps, I walk into walls. Wanna know something about me? Just ask. I'm extremely random though, just warning you now. Things that wouldn't make sense to normal people are in some ways connected in my brain and I take this and run with it. I'd love to have a random conversation with you some time. I love music, well mostly rock n roll, so if u listen to rap, you're kinda outa luck on this myspace. Sorry. But regardless of what type of music you like, I think everyone can agree that music has a way of unmasking emotions, calming fears, soothing anger, and illuminating happiness. There is a song for everyone, in every situation. In theory, there is no bad music...just different tastes. I could probably go on forever about music, but I'll stop here. I only wish I could produce it. I write poems, instead...some of which are posted. But still, I wonder...what would my music be like? I'm pretty easy going and I'm a rather friendly person, I'll talk to anyone at least once. However, if you're balding, could potentially have fathered me, and IM me going "Hey there beautiful" (true story) chances are not in your favor buddy and you should move onto the fourteen year olds in their underwear (you'd probably have better luck). Now of course, if you're some hot rocker dude (you don't even have to play in a band, a sheer appreciation for music is sufficient....But extra brownie points to anyone who will try to teach me how to play an instrument, mainly the guitar, I've just always wanted to learn) then feel free to IM me and you'll have much better luck.
