Xanithar is a comic book idea I created in 1997. It's story has been modified and re-written several times. It is still a work in progress. Mostly it's built upon several idea's and concept characters in which I hopefully find roles for.
Much of the Xanithar art is Experimental and nothing took over a couple hours. As you will see in some of the colored pages on the pics section... The art is not at it's best and the coloring gradually get's better and better. I can say from trying to do my own comic I learned several things. This was done in 2003 and most of the concepts had been done from 1997-2003. It is surely not Incredible stuff. However in creating all these cheap images, I have the conceptual idea's to work with and improve now. I have gotten really good with coloring and my skills using Photoshop cleanly and quickly have made my skills increase. Even the Drawing of the storyboards. I realize, doing something quick is not always the best way to make something stand out.
I'm currently trying to re-write my story and do a whole New Xanithar comic book, which will be extremely detailed and more of a Graphic Novel.
Xanithar is basically the ARMOR that this Middle Aged man discovers here on Earth. It is a Relic and Holy Grail like in it's discovery, for it holds strange powers to travel dimensions as well as being an EXTREMELY powerful warriors armor.
As the Middle Aged man discovers this, he's at a midllife crisis. He lost his job, his wife divorced him a few years back and his parents died of cancer and a heart attack. He cleans up the Xanithar armor and puts it on just to see what it would look like on a person, within minutes he finds himself unconscious and awakening in a Brand new world.
This Brand new world however has a story behind it as well. Egyptians had discovered a channel of energy that created a Gateway to another dimension. They brought back amazing technology and even strange creatures. Other Races and civilizations learned about the gate and WAR erupted over ownership. Soon the channel collapsed and the gateway was gone forever because of war damage to the stones it was channeling from. Several thousands of people were stuck in this dimension for good. As Egypt faltered in our world, A new Kingdom Arose in the Shadow Dimension. A kingdom called PRAKAGYPT. And with it, New types of people arose with mysterious abilities and powers. A leader there took over called Huijara and he vowed to find a way back to Earth to his old kingdom.
As the Xanithar armor becomes discovered of what it can do, by the middle aged man wearing it. He is sought after and followed and studied. Soon he accidentally opens a gate to back to Earth and he is followed by a deadly race whom are much more powerful then we could ever dream of. And if that wasn't bad enough... The Gate won't close, so creatures in the shadow Dimension start ending up in Earth as well. Xanithar's protective armor is the only thing that can stand up to the forces of the Prakagypt and that might not even be enough to stop and invasion
