Xar-Lee kunf (Carlos Franco) is a spanish 25 years old music producer from Badajoz.
Since he was 18 he has been mixing, and djing in clubs all around Spain and Portugal, getting into techno, break-beat, house, minimal, and feeling more confortable now with warm and elegant house sounds. He knows how to make people dance and get involved into his session.
In 2006 he discovered his skills in production, focused in minimal and techno.
His first track , made in colaboration with his mate James Rod in the Siriuspandi record label, was the begining of their profesional relationship, the “Hermanos Burbuja” were rocking out playing life all around Europe until begining of 2009, when Xar-lee decided to start his solo career. After many tracks released in ITALO BUSINESS, BEATMANIACS RECORDS, and FLUMO, this young producer shown us is also a very profesional Dj side, with residence in one of the best clubs in his home town.
In 2008 he started his own label with his friend James Rod: AUDIOTACTIL RECORDS.
On his own, Xar-lee produces house and techno-house tunes, the style he is more confortable with.His music sounds at once rueful and hopeful, looking forward to the future while musing melancholically on the past. It’s the perfect example of Xar-lee’s intuitive and deeply musical approach to remixing and producing— you always get the sense that he understands the songs he’s playing, their unique energies and idiosyncrasies.
Xar-lee isn’t just interested in tooling up a track for the club; he’s interested in striking up a creative conversation which leads to new and exciting pastures for both him and the public.
Xar-lee recently signed for Structure records, a great italian label where Sasha Carassi, Tony matt, Minimorph, Monicoolboyz and many other big artists are already working in
