Band Members	during the especially cold winter of 1824, she sacrificed the bass for firewood. the sound it made as it burned was a sick, glorified dirge. it was precisely what she'd been after. she huddled over the charred fragments, and the readily gave her their last breath of warmth. as a thank you, she wrote a tune in its honor. the tune was called "nothing".

All I know is that I'm gonna have to do some serious winter hiking to make up for the time lost on the trails this summer. Mark Nassau	Jul 22 2009 7:08 AM gogol bordello is the absolute bomb. i spent a summer in st. petersburg russia back in '95 and you'd be surprised by how hard eastern europeans can rock! there's a band from st. petersburg called "bird" that highly influenced gogol bordello -same gypsy punk feel. i have some of their stuff on cassette -i'll convert it and try to post it or something...
