12 men united under one common cause, to rock your face off with singing. The Xtension Chords are an all male a cappella group hailing from the prestigious University of Illinois. Scholars have maintained for millions of years that our name "Xtension Chords" bears much wisdom and studliness, which of course attributes to our on going task in keeping it real. We sing, we laugh, we move our body parts in our vain attempt at anything close to dancing, and we have a good time. Our general rule-of-thumb is that if we have a good time, you most likely will too. So if your not having a good time, at least we are you party poopers. A & R	2009/10/2 12:10 URGENT: Wanted Two Bands for Label Consideration There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration. *** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives. 1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age. * Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. * Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry. 2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age. * Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. * Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry. Audra	2009/6/4 14:29 You guys are amazing vocal wise. I can't waite for u to come to Joliet West again! Well thanks for inspiring all teens like me to sing! I'm a vocalist also and im constintly trying to recruite several ppl to join choir and it just doesn't work the way i want it to. But as soon as people from my school espesially guys, see u they instantly say "hey maybe singing is not just for girls." and they join. Which is wonderful! U guys also inspired me not to give up on singing and to go forth with it if it is what i like to do. And when i am on stage to have fun with it and not worry about getting stage fright. So thanks again for all the inspiration! ~audra :D
