The vision, and foresight of one Walter Johnston (Big Walt), founded the band with the help of co- founder Ryan (DeSoul) Gibson, and DeWayne (Sonni Dey). They started off as a singing group, recording original tracks, in various studios. The Fellows was influenced by performers like, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and of course the Sounds of Philadelphia (Gamble And Huff). Along with so many other funk and soul group. But, trying to push Their own material got very stressful, and without income coming in, and always money going out in various projects, Big Walt knew they had to take another approach at this music industry. So in 2004, Walt formed A band with co-founder Ryan DeSoul naming them "X-Cluzive, and the Soul Revival". They were a great band working with more seasonal musicians, they lasted up into 2006. With creative differences the weeding out process began.
In 2006, Big Walt Thought it would be best to dropped the name "Soul Revival", and became just "X-cluzive". One name, One spirit, One directions. This "New X-Cluzive" is more polished, entertaining, and most important HAPPY! Their show is full of energy, great sounds, with a stage show that takes you Back to the Days of Earth, Wind, & Fire. Great music, Great show, and a Great sound, is our way. Let the past join the present, music from yesterday, today, and tomorrow, that's Our Slogan.
