plays, television, and motion pictures. I like to network with artists: actors, theatre people, performers, and entertainers. I interview artists on my public access television program on Cablevision: X-Curision. | | Music | I listen to a variety of music from classical, country western, jazz, and R & B. My favorite soul musician is
James Brown, the Godfather of Soul. John Barry and Ennio
Morricone are two of my favorite composers. | | Movies | I love movies. I took filmmaking in college. My favorite film director is the late Stanley Kubrick. I'm working on an independent film right now. I write and direct what I call AUDIO MOVIES (audio plays) and they can be HEARD on my

I love nature programs, astonomy programs, and shows on historic sites. I love PBS. | | Books | My favorite author is Mr. Harlan Ellison. I sent him one of my audio CDs with a play I asked him to listen to: "Harlan Speaks". He listened to it and liked it.
Mr. Ellison sent me a thank you letter and gift inside it.

About me:
Bradley Thunderbird Phoenix, African American and Native. Born in Brooklyn, NYC. Raised in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY. Lives on Long Island, NY (Suffolk County, NY). I write poetry, short stories, and scripts. My plays have been performed on stage,
in digital studios (committed to audio CDs), and live over the radio and Internet on 2, 3, and 4-hour specials over WUSB - 90.1 FM, a listener-supported radio station, Stony Brook Univ., NY. I've written, produced and directed over 100 of his audio short stories (radio plays
- audio movies - audio plays & skits); these scripts are various lengths and genres (most under 15 minutes). All my scripts are registered with the Library of Congress and/or registered with the Writers Guild of America, East.
Besides writing and directing audio plays, I'm currently
working on an independent film; it's science fiction.
It's a confrontation between a machine and a man, and
I hope to air the finished product on my public access
televsion program: X-Cursion - Channel 20 CABLEVISION
in the Brookhaven District.
I'm getting ready to launch my Spoken-Word Conference in
the summer of 2008. I will need acts and performers of
the spoken word: stand-up comedians, impressionists,
performance poets, Hip Hop poets, and actors performing
dramatic readings and audio theatre on STAGE! This
event will be in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
There will also be panel discussions, creative workshops,
dealers tables/booths, musicians, and plenty of networking
opportunities. WOULD YOU LIKE TO PERFORM AT MY CONFERENCE?
