Hey, man. . . the final visual cut of the film ended up @ just under 12 minutes, with end creddits, which is close enough to the marker for me... the sound is done yet, as per usual. I had to direct last week, and i'm assistant directing this week, so hopeully by next week, I can do a recut, and finish the sound. Also, I just had a look at the old footage we shot back @ Aspect, and I think I have a larger project that can use it. I think i'm going to work on it, piece by piece, over the next 5 months, so I have something to do immediately after school. . . I'm thinking about calling the whole piece "Dreams about Sex and Dying" or something like that. . . i dunno, i was dreaming about it last night. I end1ed up not needing the digital matte, though i will definitely need youservices in the future (I'm trying to get my thesis to the point where I can release it after school, and to send o festivals, etc.)!
I am well enough. I live in Arizona right now, but I'll be making my way back to the east coast. I like home. How are you!? It's good to hear from you!
