XECRET0 is an original and super talented artist whose audacious style separates him from the rest. His music is a unique blend Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Merengue, Mereng-House and Salsa topped off by his one of a kind interpretations of ordinary, every day life. Xecreto put himself on the map with 1997-1998 smash hit "Tumba La Casa" which won an ACE award and sold more than 500,000 units. Born in Santo Domingo and raised in Brooklyn, few realized that Xecreto was a baseball player alongside Sammy Sosa in the minor leagues. During this time Xecreto decided that music is where he would make his lasting mark.
Xecreto has been busy acting as well. He started with a small part in a SAG movie "Buscando Un Sueño" in 1998. Since then he had substantial parts in movies like "Shaft Returns", featuring Samuel L. Jackson and directed by John Singleton, "El Cantante" featuring Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, soon to be release "Two Lovers", with Gwyneth Paltrow and Joaquin Phoenix plus various Law & Order TV gigs. The list of movies he has participated is long and extense. For five years Xecreto was signed to COMBO records and produced and album, "Por Fín Llego" and a couple of videos including one with "El Gran Combo".
IN 2009 Xecreto is promoting his new material "Xecreto "El Rapero Completo", a mixture of Reggaeton, Salsa-Rap, Hip Hop mixed with beats and flavors of New York City The first single will be "Nuevo Rumbo". This album was produced by Xecreto and Mario G. Xecreto's rich story-telling and intense feeling of rhythm will capture the spirit of everyone's on the dance floor.
