About me:

My blog: emmalina @ LiveJournal.com
My photo album: emmalola @ Flickr.com

I'm Emma, a 20 year old female living in Tasmania, Australia with my fiance Daniel. I work in the disability support field and I'm a University student, majoring in Psychology. Daniel and I share our space with two beautiful cats (Coco & Kitty), our aquarium fish and zebra finches. We are expecting our first baby boy, Blake, to be born on the 4th of July 2009. Currently I am a little housewifey as I am on early Parental Leave due to pregnancy complications.

I'm an Enneagram type 4 and a Piscean which makes me an exceptionally sensitive, moody and reserved romantic idealist. I've always had an attraction to all things dark and obscure; I went through that "gothic" phase as a kiddie, grew out of it but retained the interest in the more mysterious and kooky side to life. I'm emotionally honest, self-deprecating, down to earth and have a temper fiery enough to melt a freakin' polar ice cap. As an only child I also developed a brattiness and love of being spoiled.

As far as appearances go I'm 4'11 and my pre-pregnancy weight was 45kgs, check back with me in six months or so and I'll let you know how I'm going with that. I really love 50's style clothing and hair (Bettie Page!) but more often than not, laziness wins and I end up in trackpants. Anyway, just look at my photos or something. I'm vain and take lots of myself.

I enjoy the usual feminine array of activities (shopping, fashion, health, beauty) but also have an affinity for technology and electronic gadgets. I first started chatting online at 11 years old and have been blogging, tweeting and tubing in one form or another ever since. I love photographing things and keeping journals and the Internet provides a great outlet for it. I have formal qualifications in technical support and network engineering; I love fixing and building computers and other technological toys. I also get easily addicted to videogames, particularly MMORPGs.

I'm a creative person and due to my lack of a noteworthy talent in any particular area I enjoy dabbling in several forms of crafts. Sewing, jewellery making, scrapbooking, interior decorating, painting, graphic and web design are some things I'm particularly fond of.
