Meg Cabot books are like literary chocolate. The best and wittiest chick-lit fluff I have managed to find. I particularly love the Mediator series and How to Be Popular. Couldn't tell you why, but I do. Also, I loved Airhead, but sequel isn't out yet, so…bummer.
Audrey, Wait! By Robin Benway rocked my socks. Great story, but then Hellogoodbye and the Cure song quotes? Frick yeah.
The Georgia Nicolson diaries by Louise Rennison. Full of laughterosity. Or something.
I love the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. There are many books I prefer, but they are high on the list.
Finally for now, Neil Gaiman books. Love the Sandman comics and Stardust and Neverwhere and…everything I've read by him.

Music is a huge part of my life. I was raised by music lovers, I inherited that gene, and I love it. I just suck at trying to play it.
I love theater, especially musicals, and especially especially musicals with attractive guys (so sue me, [sue me, what can you do me?] I'm a teenager). Someday I will see lots of musicals on Broadway. I just have to get to New York first.
Many of my music and movie choices are considered to be "appalling". But I know what I like, and I'm sticking to it. Who cares if you think Jon Cryer sucks. I don't. =D
I'm a total romantic. I believe Andie should have chosen Duckie, Mr. Darcy is a literary dreamboat, and I'm still waiting for my Lloyd Dobler.

I hate lying. It can screw up anything and everything. The truth can hurt, but honestly, other than when answering "does this make me look fat," I believe honesty is the best policy. And the only reason that is an exception is because of physical safety.
I can be over sensitive and get hurt easily, but give me a day or two and I'll probably have gotten over it.
I take my friendships very seriously, especially due to not-so recent events.
I love proper grammar and absolutely loathe chatspeak. Typing a few extra letters is not that hard. I believe in you. However, I do not believe in U.
I tend to go for the geekier guys. Not like 100% socially inept geeky, but…still. However, I am not immune to the charm of some more stereotypically cute guys. John Krasinski, anyone? (He's not geeky, is he? I really don't think so, but…I never can be sure if what I think others think is normal actually is normal or is still just bonkers).

Who I'd like to meet: Most people say God or Jesus, but clearly that isn't in the cards quite yet. So, I want to meet people I can get along with. And then there's the huge list of people I'll probably never meet. Like John Cusack. I think I heard he's nice. Not that I'd notice, I'd be so busy freaking out/fainting.
I LOVE that thing. I had one when I was a baby. It is SO old school. They are so hard to find, now. I found that barn at Goodwill for about 3 bucks. I've found a few classic toys at Goodwill that may be worth a lot now, or soon.
I know! She's growing up too fast. :.( *sniff* But she's becoming more and more my best friend. She loves hanging out with me and will actually sit or cuddle with me instead of trying to run off all the time. She just loves to be with me, and I love that.

Who watches MTV anymore? It's been ages since I last seen anything from it. Well, except for a few good comedy shows they have here in Brazil, but, they don't play any good music videos anymore. VH1 is too turning into the same thing. they have too many reality shows now. It's a pity, really.
Well, I thought Hairspray was awesome, and I'll check the older version sometime. It seems interesting, but did they maintain the same songs or did they do new versions of them?
Yeah, it would be unfair, I suppose. the Rocky Horror Picture Show with hip-hop songs would be a total failure! I wouldn't spend a single cent to see it. I mean, if you want to do a remake thingy, don't /kill/ the original concept, songs, etc...
This could only be something coming from MTV. they really like to mess up things, it seems.
