    i have laryngitis.
    do you still want me to come to your garlic party?
    i've heard garlic wields otherworldly healing powers but i don't know if you want me testing the myth by infecting everyone...
    i'll leave it up to you.
    (this is all contingent upon me being able to get out of bed in the first place, of course.
    )

    Chocolate party too?? Dang! Why can't you live closer???? I hope you like the Rosemary Chocolate Truffles. You'll have to tell me how it goes (both the party and also what ppl think of the truffles)! Btw, Mike and I are tempted by the idea of hosting a garlic party, and we're also toying with the idea of a salsa party. It's not really a salsa perhaps, but I made a sauce of cantalope ginger peach & basil (about half I made into a smooth sauce with honey, the rest I just just chopped and left fresh like a pico consistency). It was awesome with angel food cake. We've really been rocking out the farmer's market this summer.

    Oh and hey did I ever tell you about the chocolate hazelnut cookies with choc vanilla ice cream, wildflower honey, cinnamon, coriander, almonds and fresh lavendar flowers? The lavendar is absolutely amazing with the choc hazelnut and the honey. It's seriously the most decadent dessert in a small package! I'll have to make for you sometime. Dried lavender kills it though.
