Simple Music for Complicated Cats is the quirky new and first solo album from Xewin (a change from his previous programming work for cobalt). The hypnotic electronic rythms will lure your feline to the alleyway dance floors of the midnight city. Simple Needs and Cats Choices (repérage Couleur3) will be big summer hits at the secret disco of all those complicated cats.
In his mysterious laboratory, Xewin has conducted some meticulous analysis of short hair breeds, to develop this distinguished and addictive style of music, it is both addictive and mysterious – the sonority resonates like a low deep purr, based essentially on analogic sonorities.
Natasha Waters (Kaltehand), Lionel Glassier (Water Lily), Bobby Johnson are the lucky guest that shared this fascinating experience and mixed their voice with the warm purring sound of the synthesizers. Love Motel (CH), The Activism Ministry (JP) et Ausgehd.8 (CH) did also bring their personnal paws to the album by remixing some of the tracks in their own ways.
