Since forming in 1997, XEX has carved a distinct path through the Northwest music scene with three full length CDs, a seven song EP, a supercharged live show, and a unique combination of style and attitude. Characterized by the precise and immediate sound of a three piece, XEXs music defies generic description, owing only to the originality of an uncompromised musical vision. The result is an eclectic blend of harmonic, melodic, and percussive elements, which are forged into a fusion of progressive rock and aggressive metal.
XEX received a Jagermeister sponsorship in September of 2004, and have shared the stage with such national acts as Brides Of Destruction, The Accused, Floater, 3 Inches of Blood, and Hyrax. With the release of "Not For Resale EP", XEX is poised to continue forward on their mission to have their musical vision experienced by all.
In the summer of 2006, XeX's 3rd full length album TRIAD was released in the midst of an emotional year that found drummer Peter Wadams recovering from a car accident. Stay tuned for more....
