You know it's just times like these when you just want to sit alone, relax and enjoy time simply by yourself.
Well I would say that but I can't. You see I'm Jamie Madrox, yea that guy, the Multiple Man. I am my own best friend. A one man walking army ( or circus depending on who you talk to) You see I run this investigation business.
We don't have to talk about that right now but much like we don't have to mention the X-Men Movie either now... Sorry still a sore spot there.
Where was I? Oh yea, this is me. I'm a mutant. So get over it and if you ever stop by Mutant Town be sure to stop by and have a drink, I'm sure a few pals of mine could always use a new friend.

- Lois was workign on a story in New York. Her plane landing and she needed t look for a hotel to stay at. She was lookign in her bag for her phoene when she banged into someone - "Omg.. im sorry are you ok?"
Max was in his crapy abonden house doing nothing. He started to get really board. He went outside thinking he need some fresh air. He started to walk on the side walk heading into the city. After a few minutes walking in the city, the side walk started to get crowed with people. Max, didn't really like it when alot of people were around him.
Max head to mutant town to see what was up. When he got their, nothing much was going on, other then the usually stuff. Max was walking to a park near by. When he got their he saw a man the he met before that, give him a card. When he remeber, he pulled out the card and looked at it. Then put it back in his pocket and walked over to the man.
"I think a combination of us wouldn't be too bad. Especially you're sense of humor." she said smiling as she listened. "Yeah. Layla told me nonchalantly this morning... I spit out half my orange juice in shock then I think I fainted... I took a test to be sure..."
Reaching into her overalls pocket, she pulled out the capped test, the two lines on it to show a positive response. Lightly laughing, she thought of what Monet had said earlier.
"Monet was teasing me about having more than one... Lord forbid." she said with a soft giggle. "Could you imagine that?"
Feeling his lips against hers, she smiled some. She felt better than she had now. Sliding her arms around his neck, she pressed her forehead against his.
"I wasn't planning on going unless you kicked me out." she said softly. Hugging him, she put her head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry this happened... But... Is it bad for me to be excited?" she said looking up at him.
'What a reaction..' she thought to herself as she slowly stood. Gently taking her hand back, she looked down. She had somehow hoped for more than that.
"Yeah... That's something..." she said softly as she crossed her arms, debating whether or not to leave the room or wait till reality kicked in for him. Walking slowly to the door, she stopped about half way.
"Layla told me this morning... And I took a test to confirm. It was positive." she said still looking down, biting her lower lip as a single tear slid down her cheek. She wouldn't allow anymore than that.
Abbie looked at him, a soft sigh escaping her lips. She was so nervous. Looking up at him, she shook her head.
"No... Monet didn't do anything and I'm ok. I don't need anything... It's just..." she stopped. She never thought this could happen. Not like this. This was supposed to be a happy time and all she could think about was what could go wrong. Taking his hand, she looked up at him.
"Jamie... I... I'm..." she said, her voice shaking some. Taking a deep breath, she looked him in his eyes.
"I'm pregnant." she finally muttered out as she waited to see his reaction, scared of what it might be.
Abbie had been staring at the same magazine page since she heard Jamie come in. Like she had frozen. She calmed down some as she heard him go upstairs, lifting her hand to see it shake. Damn nerves. Hearing him come downstairs, she looked to him as he walked into the office.
"Jamie... Sit down... We need to talk." she said rubbing her arm slightly as she looked at him. Not knowing exactly how to say it.
Abbie walked into Jamie's room, the note in her hand. As nervous as she could be, she didn't realized she had crinkled the note up. She wasn't sure how this could have happened but it had and now... Now she had accepted it and to be honest, was excited. Now the biggest part, was telling him. Walking over to Jamie's bed, she put the note on the pillow. It was a simple note that read her message loud and clear.
Jamie,
I need to talk to you ASAP. It's really important.

Looking at the note, she knew what she was going to tell him would change their relationship in a way she hoped was good. Closing her eyes, she sighed as she turned and walked out of the room, hoping he'd come find her soon.
Slinking upwards onto the siding of the X Factor's Investigation building, Poison grinned his sharp and unattractive teeth. Slobering thick saliva around his lips, with his elongated tongue, the monstrosity stuck around for a bit. He waited for the one nicknamed Multiple Man to show up. All of them.
Feeling his kiss, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the feeling of his lips against hers. Something she could most definately get used too. A soft blush covered her cheeks at that thought. Looking into his eyes, she smiled. "Well I'm up for just about anything... We do still need to restock the house... We were a bit... distracted yesterday." she said smiling and giggling softly.
"We send our greetings, Madrox," he says it allowing his tongue to cross his own lips before sticking it out entirely. "We'll be dropping by soon."
(OOC: And yes, I also play the Amazing Spider-man, that you talk to.)
Closing her eyes, she smiled and put her hand on top of his. "I've slept better. But I'll live." she said softly as she felt somewhat better. He could always make her smile no matter how down she got. Slowly turning, she gently caressed his cheek. "How are you feeling?" she said softly, her voice full of concern.
It had been an eventful evening at best as Abbie walked down stairs. It was early in the morning which was unusual for her to be awake but she had had trouble sleeping as the night went on. Walking into the kitchen, she began to clean up the mess she had made when treating Jamie's wounds then proceeded to clean up the kitchen as well. She was still wearing Jamie's shirt from the day before but had slid on some rather short shorts beneath it in case anyone was around, at least she wouldn't be flashing the entire world. Sighing softly to herself, she wiped her brow and continued to clean to keep her mind off things.
Well there isn't even a thank you from Spiderman,but what did she expect,really? Certainly not for him to thank her,which is exactly why Ororo just goes on her way,leaving the webslinger to do his own thing. Stopping to gaze at a dress in a botique,the weather witch debates on purchasing just one last item before finally finding a way to go home,though the dress in the window is suddenly the furthest from Ororo's mind as she thinks about the dinner invitation Jamie gave her just alittle while ago. Wondering vaguely what Guido would say about it,the wind rider smirks mentally while making up her mind and turning to walk in the door of the botique. It will be the dress Ororo wears on the date with Jamie,when he decides is a good time for him. It's a rather simple dress,though dressy enough for a dinner date....white too off the shoulder style. It's perfect for the wind rider,especially with the color.
No more than ten minutes later,Ororo walks out of the store with that very same dress,a pleasant smile gracing her dark lips....a smile that turns into a smirk when thinking about the other X-Men members' reaction when seeing her in that dress. Knowing Gambit,the wind rider can already guess that the Cajun charmer will make a comment of his own. While walking down the block,a sway to her hips,the wind rider digs her cellphone and the card that Jamie give her out,but first Ororo calls the school and asks for the limosuine to be sent to pick her up at the park. Next is the call to the number Jamie gave her,wanting to ask him when the best time would be for him.
Layla was in the game room. Well more like the living room. She was playing a raceing game for ps2 and she was kicking butt like always. Her and the other student were having a lot of fun. She laughed out and the boy the was playing with her. Lightly pushed her arm a little. She pushed back but not lightly harder as she crossed the finish line in the game. She jumped up and she laughed and than she looked at the door and she saw Jamie. She smiled brightly and she could really not control herself. She ran up and she hugged him.
