Final Beltane Notice: Everyone who is attending, the date and time is still normal and Mally and I are both very excited. The ritual planning has almost reached it's final stages and this notice is just so you can be sure you're ready to celebrate with us all on this magickal night.
As stated before, the colour theme is red and white. This doesn't mean EVERYTHING is to be red and white, just some of your clothing, but the more colour the better. When preparing for the ritual everyone will have some of the ritual colours tied to them in the form of ribbons anyway.
It is traditional on Beltane to select a May Queen and King. These are just traditional titles and it's considered very lucky to be crowned as one of these. It's drawn at random during the ritual, so it could be anybody. There isn't really anything expected of you during the ritual but we'll probably select you to help us perform a small rite called 'Cakes and Wine'.
Wear comfortable running shoes, we'll be doing a maypole dance and the traditional jumping of the Bel Fire [don't fret, it's only a small one].
Finally, and probably most important. At the end of the ritual and when we all return to Mallory's for socialising and sleeping, there will be two privately selected areas outdoors, one for friends and one for lovers. These areas are only to have two people present in them at a time and place at these areas will be two small Books of Shadows. Within these books will be small rituals of dedication, along with a small box nearby containing all the tools to perform the rites yourself. These rituals are all about dedicating friendships and relationships in the presence of the God and Goddess, as well as to bless these relationships with goodwill of the Beltane. You'll need to write small vows basically, to anyone you wish to perform these rituals with. They are just a paragraph or two about why the person mean

Info: Basically Beltane is the Wiccan/Pagan celebration of fertility. We celebrated the union of the Goddess and the God in marriage and the central theme is the maypole. The ritual involves a maypole dance, small rite of celebration and then feasting. We really hope all invited can come, this is a ritual best celebrated amongst friends and lovers. The celebration also has a little bit of sordid history relating to it, so if interested feel free to ask =P ahaha. Blessed Be! Faolan.
