    Howdy XFM

I made this album that maybe you’d be interested in. It has tall tales, big brass, quiet melodies and sometimes a pop song breaks out. There is a journal on my site of how I started it without a clue, lost faith in it more often than not and bizarrely managed to finish it - finished recording it, then finished mixing it then finished pressing and printing it.
The album is called YOU’RE AN ELCTRON I’M AN ELECTRON

If you’re free on Friday 3rd October, check out my album launch in Radio City.

The single CAROL VORDERMAN - COUNTING ME DOWN and the album are available for download on iTunes from 3rd Oct.

I am performing on BALCONY TV on Monday 29th Sept

    Hey XFM folks.

I'm a 22 year old dude looking to play guitar in a Dublin band north or centrally based.

I recently left drumming for 5 years in my UK 3 piece alt rock band.

I want to make the change to guitarist/songwriter and have fun playing great music again.

I am generally against paying to practice in staircase ridden holes in town but don't mind the odd time. Alternatives can be hard to find but much better for writing music.

For me good music involves: groove/tone/dynamic/resonant/dischordant/heavy/mellow/lush/funk/unique and progressive elements.

Bands I like include Primus, Smashing Pumpkins, Bjork, Deftones, Sigur Ros, Meshuggah but more importantly is the transcendency of quality music that I want to convey.

We live in the 21st century and its vital to stay loyal to the true meaning of the phrase 'alternative rock.
    '

If this ad resonates with anybody, get in touch and we can meet some Wednesday in the Bleu Note jazz bar over a pint and a nice smoke.
