Music
Christian rock/alternative, like Relient K and Sanctus Real. Also, lots of Japanese music. My favorite j-pop bands are all JE, naturally, and are NEWS, Arashi and KAT-TUN, and my favorite j-rock bands are Bump of Chicken and UVERworld, currently. I'll listen to just about anything except rap/R&B.
Movies
Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Moulin Rouge, Miyazaki movies (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle)- mostly action movies, musicals (which there are not enough of), Pixar movies, and maybe the occasional chick flick if it's a good one.
Television
I really don't watch much TV these days...haha. Heroes (I haven't watched much yet, but I want to!), CSI, American Idol, and some sitcoms. More than American shows, I watch Japanese dramas. Some of my all-time favorites are Pride, Hana Yori Dango, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, and tons more. I also watch Japanese variety shows from time to time, like Shonen Club (which is Johnny's only), Utaban, and Hey Hey Hey!
Books
Just about any fantasy. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Inheritance series, the Swan's War trilogy, currently reading the Inkheart trilogy, and tons more. I also love The Only Alien on the Planet by Kristen D. Randle, which no one's ever heard of but it's fantastic.
Heroes
Just about anyone who's suffered or died for the Christian faith. There are a lot of great stories out there like that, in books like Jesus Freaks. I really admire people who can put the needs of others ahead of themselves genuinely, with no ulterior motives.
About me: I'm a Christian and always have been, so I've always been a good girl, which I'm actually proud of. I'm academically smart, but outside of school I have no common sense, so I can be pretty stupid sometimes, but who wants to be smart all the time anyway? Being stupid is way more fun.
Who I'd like to meet: Christians, people who are into Japanese stuff (not otaku, haha), um...cool people? XD
As far as celebrities go...there are several Japanese men I'd love to meet. Namely, members of Johnny's Entertainment, especially Yamapi, Koyama, Jin, Sho...oh, how the list goes on.

its bout a girls named Samantha Parks whose father is this BIG genuis in top secret inventions. She is 17, and goes to high school. One day, on a class trip of hers, she gets kidnapped cuz ppl want one of her dad's inventions and claim she had it. So she is being shipped to Mexico on a cargo ship to the evil boss guy. On that ship she meets Sophia, a girl that has the same problem. So they both try to escape on lil boats off the ship and back to shore. All worked, except once they get on the water, the cargo ship EXPLODES! so Sophia's boat was pushed to shore by the water fo the explosion and Sam's ended up farther in the ocean, but ends up unconcious becuz soething hit her on the head from the explosion. Then she wakes up to find herself in a boy's house, named Chase. Though, once she sees the Chase, she instantly falls in love. Then later on, she goes on a rescue mission to find her Dad with Chase....but later on finds out that she made a big mistake of doing so....and that changes her life forever.
Ya i had a great time there. You know i think i'm going to go there again, maybe next sunday =] and i LOVVVEE to read! :D I love reading fantasy books too XD also, i'm..........well i'm writing my own book. :) and its good so far, like i have already 60 pages :D
heck yes i am in japan right now on the island of okinawa visiting my friend whoes husband is in the military....it's been exciting!!! i am sooo excited for you that you are getting your BA soon that is really great...what are you doing right now as far as a job that is so good???? i quit my job at the theater when i moved out here and now i am unemployed but it will be great cause i will find something here and when i get back itwil be good too!! :)
hey you i complety forgot how into japanese stuff you are...way cool so then i should tell you i am living in japam for the next three months...i knoe you jealous or what??? yeah not for school or anyhting but living with a friend. yeah so whats going on with you girl..haven't heard anyhting about you in a long time. don't think you went back to hume this last summer me neither...had bills to pay that hume just wouldnt pay for and plus i didn;t want to leave my dad...anyways fill me in girl i am sure that a lot has happend with you and you are just dying to fill me in i know....miss you girl talk to you later.
Toda Erika? Hmm...she was only good in the Death Note movies. Other wise her main roles like Liar Game, weren't all that good. She played her role nicely for the amount of time she got in HYD2.
Yeah...I think what really made Liar Game the great drama it was, was Matsuda Shota.
Anyway, yeah I was reading up on the drama ur talking about. It seems Nino and Ryo are going to be siblings or something that are trying to avenge their parents' deaths by taking down the murderers.
Seems good. I like dramas like this. I believe that with every happy go lucky drama, there should be either a really dark or a really sad drama to counter act on it.
dude, have u watched 1 Litre of Tears? This is my 2nd time watching it...and still i get 1 litre of tears in my eyes. It's so sad. But that's not the point. You should watch it if u haven't done so already. Ryo (yes...Ryo from NEWS) is in it and he does a really good job playing his part.
lol, i kinda already do. i was so bored during japanese, that i got onto my laptop and started researching on how to speak yakuza. it's not as hard as it looks. its actually WAY easier than public japanese since all you have to do is drop a crap load of articles and add "kono yaro" to the end of everything if ur speaking to someone directly XD
