Ali Habibzadeh aka X Green was born in 1982 in Tehran, Iran. Electronic music producer, sound engineer and owner of a degree in oriental percussions, Ali acquired his first musical background at the age of 7 while listening to the music of his country and he soon formed a band at the age of 14. In 2001 he moved to Cyprus for university education, graduating as a software engineer, but he soon enough found himself doing gigs and club nights. Late night shows in club Balistic, Ultrasound and production with Balistic records in Holland few years later cultivated his perception of sound. While listening, mixing and making music ranging from trip hop to psychedelic trance Ali defined his sound to be house, progressive, minimal, tribal, melodic, powerful and energetic – always full of innovation and passion for the dance floor’s forward thinking crowd.
He is currently living in London, finished his audio engineering degree. In college he formed a relationship with Alex Celler and in July 2006 they launched their digital label, Caedmon records, producing not what the sound industry pushes on producers but what they think is the quality and new sound on the electronic dance music scene. Caedmon Records has turned out to achieve a lot more than any other label in the same category out there; soon receiving massive amount of remix requests, collaborations and getting support from Apollo 440, Hernan Cattaneo, Parham and Dominic Plaza, Sultan, Moshic, Dj Ariel and many more. His last, EP Extreme Fusions, has been number 1 in the progressive house chart of Juno downloads for August 2006 and there is a lot more to come from him. Bellarine Records spotted Mr. X Green soon enough to sign few mind-blowing tunes of his and he is lately producing at commission for a handful of other labels.
X Green also has not lost the long love he has for engineering side; still recording and helping band from different genres putting their records together also scoring films for independent filmmakers he respects in the UK.
X Green is definitely one of the artists who proved immense recognition in a short time; however that is possible only when talent and hard work are combined and conceptualized constantly and humbly.

Cool to meet you on Saturday, you may be glad or not so glad to know that my fingers don't need surgery. Think you probably are one of the only producers I know that actually gets the real point of Progressive, great tracks.
