About XICON

XICON are no newcomers! Formed of five talents who have all been active for over a decade in various genres of music, including rock, funk, metal, and even classical music, XICON has arisen from their previous project, The Nightshade. Since 1998, that band had reached an international reputation within the underground scene, thanks to dozens of gigs, reviews in top metal magazines, and a showcase broadcast several times on the Swiss National Television (TSR). The Nightshade was recast into XICON to underline the strong will to bring its creativity to a brand new level.

DJ Emily Heaven	Dec 13 2008 9:43 PM Avis à la population, Pour ceux qui ne sont pas encore au courant, voici l'article qui est paru ce matin dans le journal 24 heures. http://www. 24heures. ch/vaud/menace-concert-gothique-amalgame-2008-12-12 Malgré cet article, de nouvelles menaces ont été proférées à l’encontre du club pour tenter de faire annuler le concert de Heimataerde qui aura lieu ce vendredi 19 décembre à l'amalgame. Nous ne connaissons pas l'auteur de ces messages qui tente de faire passer le groupe Heimataerde ainsi que les gothiques pour des néo nazis mais nous sommes sûre d'une chose, nous ne cèderons pas à la menace et nous n'annulerons pas ce concert. Heimataerde est un groupe qui ne fait pas de propagande et qui n'a rien à se reprocher tout comme Sanctuary ainsi que l’Amalgame club. Si un groupe comme Heimataerde qui fait de la musique electro médiéval sans ambigüité peut faire l’objet de menaces aussi sérieuses, à quand l’interdiction de faire jouer des groupes comme The Cure, Cinéma Strange ou Alien sex Fiend ? Sans oublier que céder à ces menaces serait donner raison à l’auteur de ces messages et par conséquent, prendre le risque de voir des clubs refuser d’organiser des évènements en collaboration avec des associations dark par peur des représailles. C'est pourquoi nous avons besoin de votre soutien. Plusieurs journalistes seront présents lors de cette soirée et nous comptons sur votre présence, pour soutenir notre démarche et nous aider à faire démentir ce flot d'accusations mensonger.
