About XIMENA - (CD release party @ Rock & Roll Hotel!!)
(He-men-uh) is a three piece group with strings from York, PA and drums from Washington, DC. With full time jobs, night classes, family obligations, and obvious geographical challenges, the band only practices once every few months. Although considered just a part time band, Ximena has already played a handful of amazing shows with bands like Don Caballero, Knot Feeder, Jawbox 0n Cello, Moneen, Running From Dharma, and more. After much anticipation, the band has released their first 8-song studio record, currently available by request and through Red Stapler Records, as well as upcoming live shows this Winter. In the mean time, you are invited to ingest these sonic conundrums for your own cochlear satisfaction!
