From the young age of 12, when Chris first got his hands on one of his dad's turntables at home, and attempted to scratch the needle on one of the family's LP collection... an album by 70's disco icons Boney M, he had no idea that the primitive & delicate needles this antique turntable used would not be designed for such use...The rise from bedroom banger to professional DJ took a few years of hard work, dedication & Chris X's undying love for music, but by 1998 Chris X had already been known to leave dancefloors screaming for more! The early years in the late 90s included a mash-up of vocal house & r&b, but after nearly 10 years of playing this music Chris-X realised that his true-calling was trance & hard dance and since 2006 has been playing nothing but music that leaves crowds captivated in a euphoric & bass-thumping mash-up of "Melodic, yet Driving" Dutch & German Hardstyle, Tek Trance & German Hard Trance. Some things are just worth the wait....
Also one to appreciate various genres of music, Chris X began his love-affair with Technics 1200 turntables in 1992, and over the years had seen him start playing-out at everything from house-parties to university campus parties to Federation Square outdoor events, moving across to nightclubs such as DeBiers (2002-2005), Dream Nightclub (Duel-June til Oct'06), The Laundry (PsyNRG-Oct'06), CBD Nightclub (3D-Oct & Nov'06), Saratoga (Jan '07) & Bar Altitude (Elevation DJ Comp-Aug'06).
With a music style that has evolved somewhat over the years, from the '90s sound of SL2, DJ Seduction, KLF, Marmion, Gat Decor, Tony De Vit (R.I.P.) & Oakenfold to the new millenium influences like Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, BK, Scot Project, Steve Murano & Armin Van Buuren, Chris X has always kept a close finger on the pulse of the dance music scene, seeing the scene evolve from the early days of Dome, Monkey, Pharmacy, BASS-Station, Evolution & a weekly Hard Kandy, to TODAY'S PHD @ INFLATION and also 3D @ CBD NIGHTCLUB, always playing a wide variety of everything from Tek Trance to Electro to Minimal to Hardstyle to Hard Trance to Uplifting Trance to vocal house classics!!! Chris-X firmly believies that the best has yet to come in today's House, Trance & Hard Dance music scene...with Melbourne being the ultimate "melting pot" of these styles of EDM (Electronic Dance Music).
Being influenced by some of the local greats like Ben Kakoschke, Jewelz, LCK, Jason Midro, Jeremy K, Kat, Soul- T, Andy Van, Anthony Pappa, Miss Mel, Sean Quinn, Master KAOS, Lisa Carrick & too many more to mention, Chris X is a dj that plays the music FOR the people; being a "Raise Your Hands-In-The-Air" kinda dj, always revving up crowds wherever he plays, promising no less than Bass-pumping, Floor-stomping & Bangin' HARD as NAILS trance.
In 2006, due to personal issues, Chris X decided to put his djing to rest. But after much love & support from fellow DJs, friends and loved ones, and countless requests from fans & friends alike NOT to quit, Chris made his return to DJing and turntablism in 2007.

Amber Savage (Sydney)
Amber Savage is recognized as one Australia's leading DJ's. Appearing on the scene in 2000 as a 19 year old, she has gone from rising star to become a household name. Best known for her tough music style and vibrant personality, Amber tours Australia regularly and headlines the biggest clubs and events around the country. In the 2004 Technics ITM Top 50 Australian DJ Poll, Amber soared an astonishing 30 places up the list from her result in 2003 to become 11th in the country. Since then she has gone from strength to strength cracking the top 10 then the top 5 and is undeniably still the country’s leading female DJ, having claimed that position for the 4th year running. In 2008 she spent seven weeks touring Europe and UK and played at some of the worlds most prestigious clubs and club nights including Es Paradis – Ibiza, “Charlys Angelz” – Ibiza, BCM – Mallorca (Spain) and “Pam’s House” in UK to sellout crowds. Amber delighted punters everywhere whether she banged out intense hard bass sets or fun and bouncy electro sounds. Due to her success on this trip, Savage will be taking up resident there for the Euro summer in 2009. No rest for the wickedly talented though, as Amber has also been busy in the studio, making her own distinct mark on music for the dance floor and releasing her debut solo original track on vinyl late 2005 titled “Within You”. After that she co-wrote her next big trancer “Apocalypse” with Archie, released on vinyl in July 2006, followed by “Tarantizm”. The latest and greatest addition to her growing catalogue is “Sensations of the Mind” featured on her latest CD.
