General
I love going to the theaters and movies. I enjoy acting and stage managing as well. Reading, talking... the normal stuff. Going to the zoo is one of my favorite activities. Prairie dogs are the most adorable things ever... up there with puffins. ^_^ Eh... most of this will probably be covered in the "About Me" section to your right.
Music
I love just about all music. My collection consists mostly of soundtracks and wizard rock. I love everything from Pop/Rock to tribal percussion music/hawaiian chant music. I've been exploring Japanese music, and have yet to find something I don't enjoy. I'm also delving into the world of Wizard Rock (or wrock) and I've yet to find something I haven't loved. Check it out!
I'm a big fan of movies. I go as often as possible. I loved "Underworld" and "Pirates of the Caribbean". Tarantino is a film God... anything Tarantino rox. Anything Kevin Smith rox. I have all of the ViewAskew movies on dvd, including the college tour dvd, "An Evening w/ Kevin Smith". I have seen him twice live. Once before I got the dvd, and one after. I love how he said something that was on the dvd and someone yelled from the audience "That was on the DVD" or somethin' and he was all, "I knew that DVD thing was a bad idea... took all my good material." xD Big fan of the new film: Clerks 2... everyone should see that. It's out on DVD... and he's going to be in Bruce Willis' "Live Free or Die Hard" which everyone should see regardless. I've seen almost all of David Wenham's films. He's brilliant. He always creates the most interesting characters.
Kinda sad that I'm more Reaver than Wash. >_> I think it was because I couldn't fly a plane. ^_^ So that's okay. Take this quiz! It's adorable and fun! Thank you and have a nice day. ^_^
Favorite wrock podcast is "The Podcast of Awesome" all Wizard Rock, all the time. ^_^ Check it out. You won't be sorry.
Television
My favorite TV shows are "Grey's Anatomy" and House. I have recently began watching Japanese dramas (live action) through youtube.com/crunchyroll.com. My current favorites are Hana Yori Dango, Summer Snow, and Kimi wa Petto. I'm also watching Robin Hood through the BBC-America and The Riches on FX (Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver make an awesome comedic team).
Books
If I could only have one book for the rest of my life, it would be "Lady of the Forest" by Jennifer Roberson. It's a Robin Hood type book, but it sets it up as what could have really happened if the events of the tale we know and revere were true and put into a multiperspective story. It's beautiful.
Favorite trilogy has to be the "Fitzwilliam Darcy" trilogy by Pamela Aidan ("An Assembly Such as This", "Duty and Desire", and "These Three Remain") which go through the story of "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen from Mr. Darcy's point of view. It's brilliantly written. The "Lord of the Rings" books. The "Chronicles of Narnia" books. The "Series of Unfortunate Events" books.
Last (but far from least) the "Harry Potter" series by JK Rowling. OMG These books rocked. I cried several times while reading the last one... it was so awesome. Those words don't do it justice... *sigh* So awesome. It's by far my favorite series.
People who stand up for others, regardless of what it costs them... revolutionaries, because without them I'd probably never have been born... people who champion causes, even if they're the last one... people with the guts to put themselves out there on stage, screen, or in their personal lives, because it takes guts to leave yourself vulnerable to scrutiny (be it public or private)... people who are unafraid to go for what they want, even against seemingly insurmountable odds... and many more. ^_^

About me:
I'm an average college student... kinda.
I made the skin for my Project Playlist player! When I have time, I'll make a better one, but that was done in about a hour. ^_^
I sing in the car (either iPod music or straight from the radio if I happen to be have it on, [which is rare it's usually iPod]). I have about 5 email addresses which I have to check almost religiously. I'm a gamer when given the opportunity, a comic book geek when given the chance, and an avid reader of: ff's, fiction literature, almost anything anthropological you stick in front of me, plays, and psychology articles that happen to catch my fancy (or be required a la class). I love to read... unless it's required. That seems to be the bane of my existence. If it's required, I don't want anything to do with it. *shrug* I'm not the first to feel this aversion, nor will I be the last. I'm a double major: "Theatre and Dance" and "Psychology". I'm currently studyinging Japanese in my oodles of free time... aka while walking class to class and waiting for class to start (I don't actually have oodles of free time... could you tell?). I am energetic and enthusiastic and 9/10 times, I'll have a smile on my face. I also love elipses and commas (as if you couldn't tell) ^_^. I'm a generally happy person and most people I know would agree with me. It's how I am and I don't apologize for it (especially not to those who find it annoying... deal or go away, it's really that simple).
I've also gotten hooked on Animal Planet. My TV stays on that station pretty much 24/7. One show in particular that I've become addicted to is called Meerkat Manor. It's adorable... all these little meerkats running around. There's drama, danger, and intrigue goin' on, but I'm pretty much in it to watch the adorable meerkats. I've been watching Celebrity Rehab (with Dr. Drew) and Grey's Anatomy. Although I rarely have time to sit and watch... I just keep taping them and the tapes are starting to pile up. x_x I will watch them eventually...
I'm digging things that are awesomely depressing right now. The movie Donnie Darko for one... it just hits me kinda wonky and I really dig it. The Ludo cd (not so new, released 2005) called "Broken Bride" makes me tear up every time I hear it. It's simply amazing. Everyone should check it out, for themselves, if not for me. They just came out with a new cd "You're Awful, I Love You" which is so amazing that there isn't even a word I can think to use that wouldn't be an understatement. ^_^ But I digress, I also love "The Moaning Myrtles" (a Wizard Rock band)... they're not depressing per se, but when you really think about it. She's a ghost, that's dead, that cries, and was picked on... she died... and yeah. It's kind of depressing.
Crappy little transition there, but I'll go with it... I discovered the world of Wizard Rock... and it has sucked me in like the darkest of powers, but in a good way. I am thoroughly enjoying Wizard Rock and think you should definitely check it out as well. Favorite band happens to be a tie between "The Moaning Myrtles", "Tom Riddle and Friends", "The Whomping Willows", "The Remus Lupins", "Ginny and the Heartbreakers", "Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills", "Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls", "Catchlove"-- Okay, I love them all. The whole wrock community seems to be built on a solid structure of love and I feel fortunate to have found something so rare.
I take adding friends very seriously, so take any of my new friends as a stamp of approval straight from me... whatever that's worth to you. :p
I'm Terminus bound! The 2008 Harry Potter convention that will be hosted in Chicago, IL. It's the closest I've ever been to a Harry Potter convention and I'm definitely going! Who I'd like to meet: I find this section kinda funny... I'd say interesting people, but everyone is interesting in their own way or in their lack of interesting... so... iunno. I guess I'd like to find people I don't annoy and people that don't annoy me... that I can hang with and be myself. People who can dig my quirks and find the charm in them without judgment.

I know, my computer completely spazzed out and died a couple of months ago, so I was without a computer for the longest time. And ze' laptop finally got fixed, so I'm able to get on more often now! 7/10 times, I usually go on Internet Explorer, though. Hehe. But, I'm always on MSN, if you have it. -nodnod- But, Ooh. I'm totally going to Youtube that song. It sounds mighty cool. I really can't wait until the theme park opens up so that everyone can see each other! :D And I can't believe you were only an hour and half away from me! That would've been flippin' awesome if we could've met each other! But, I was just wondering.. do we all know where to meet when we go to the theme park? Because, I don't.That's okay, though. I'll just stand in the middle of the street and start shouting everyone's names until I have everyone. lol.
