It's hard to name favorites~~ there are so many! Comedy, drama, comic book characters, kids movies (i.e. Cars, etc), action, adventure. Last movie I saw was The Golden Compass.. very good! Also enjoy foreign films w/ subtitles~

I cant stand those ridiculous reality shows (Boring!!); But do like the unreal TV shows; i.e. Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, House, Bones, Heroes, Chuck, Desperate Housewives, Medium, Ghost Whisper, Dirty, Sexy Money, Criminal Minds, The Office, 2 1/2 Men, Moonlight, Journeyman, NCIS, The Unit, CSIs. L&Os.
Books
One of my all time favorites is The Lion of Ireland by Morgan Llewellyn about King Brian Boru w/ druids, et cetera! Another favorite is Memoirs of a Geisha. I Love Christopher Moore books w/ my fav being "Lamb Or The Gospel According to Biff, Jesus's Childhood Friend" ~hilarious~; Harry Potter Books; Christopher Paolin's Eragon and Eldest; Books by Dean Koontz; Gregory Maguire (Wcked), and many others to include our classics, James Humes Books (speechwriter for 5 of our presidents & a friend); I'm interested in reading Metaphysical, craft, and art books and reading mysteries, cookbooks, and other fiction.
Heroes
My biggest heroes are my parents who were always such an inspiration to me (they were real soulmates); and my two children who have accomplished and are accomplishing their goals in life while keeping their priorities in order, not neglecting their families and the people they love, and keeping their values intact in the process; My brothers are also my heroes who are excellent men and always there for me, family, and friends and they have the best kids too!

I was born in Long Beach California and have lived in Germany, Kentucky, Washington, and now Colorado with my 2 dogs and 2 cats, and 1 granddog and 2 grandcats. I love traveling, (one favorite is by train) but also love being home and in the city where I live. It's small compared to where I grew up and the people here are nice and friendly. Less stress here and it's much more laid back; Besides that, the sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking! I love my family!! ... my two kids (both grown) and adopted son, granddaughter (6), grandson to arrive in June, my two brothers & their kids and the kids kids, cousins] my friends, and my family's animals. I have quite a few interests and hobbies (too many to list here) and am always looking for new ones!

Child, Family and People Abusers
..
.. know of a Woman in a small town in the mountains just outside of Pueblo who in my opinion is one of the most abusive people I've ever met & She thinks it's okay because she yells "Praise Jesus!" quite often! Her abuse is physical (she beats her children with belts, pinches, et cetera) it is also in using manipulation bby way of physical fear, mental abusen (throwing tantrums for days at a time, the silent treatment, whining, tantrums, mindgames, breaking their spirit then brainwashing them .... (She even throws fits if her sons aged 13-30something have girlfriends) This woman in my opinion is downright evil! The funny thing is that so many people here call her "cruel, mean, a liar, evil" and have turned her in but Child Services dont see it! She is especially self serviing, and selfish....Dirty too. She also thinks they are the perfect family... what a joke. People here in town have warned us about her... In fact, have never heard anyone we meet say a nice thing about her! We were right in our suspicion of why she has no friends (a Big Red Flag!) She always tried to play the victim in her whiny, squeeky voice....but dont let her phoneyness fool you.
Now this is sick!... She makes her kids and her one grandson call her "My Love" instead of mom or g'ma... What is that about really? (Isnt that reserved for your sweetheart, not kids? .... That alone shows some deep issues).
Most of her family, to include her kids, warned us that she is really a mean person and abusive and that they cant stand her (Because of her, they need counseling. We've been told by professionals that her mental problem is PATHOLOGICAL and her family has Spousal/Child Abuse Syndrome because of her.
I dont even want to think about her telling me that child services has been called on her several times, but she cleans her house and it fools them!
I Hope she gets some help in the form of counseling soon... That's all I wish on her. But I doubt she will ever get it! ..
