About The Torch - 2009 the year of the Dish?

MAKE a VIDEO like this and send it to The Torch!

FROM LISTENER, LARRY!

I went to the feedback link on XM's website at XM LISTENER SURVEY and filled it out. When asked why I subscribed to XM I listed the Torch as my main reason. I also ranked the Christian stations very low and stated that it was becasue XM doesn't have a Christian rock station. I think it would be a good idea to get people to do the same and thought you could post it on the site. Take care, Larry.

OK. For those of you who are into protesting and making people listen - it is time for your voice to shine. PETITION Sign this petition.

Secondly, tell all your friends and enemies to sign this petition. We want 10,000 signatures. We are nearing 1000. Push it to the limit of revoluionary duty. Third - check out this myspace page: Save The Torch Become a friend. Sound off about XM 31! Meet more torchbearers. Get ready to rock at full volume. Send a note tot the torch email too! Pray fervently. Thanks for the support. Thomas Augustus - XM 31

WEB: XM RADIO - The Torch!

DIRECT TV: Ch. 829

EMAIL: thetorch@xmradio.com

I am XM 31 The Torch. I tell people about tons of bands by playing their music on XM Satellite Radio. Currently, I can be heard online @ XM RADIO and DIRECT TV Ch. 829. I play tons of faith based rock n roll for the masses. People tell me they love me and are blessed by such a wide variety of Christian Rock. I am worldwide on the internet. It's a God thing - I take no credit. You are too if you have a page on this MySpace thing.

I believe Jesus gave us Rock n Roll music to worship with thundering sounds and melodies, write songs about him and his dad and all the things they did together, to write songs about how life is lame sometimes and/ or how his dad does stuff in our lives. The music rocks. I serve it up. I hope you like the way the bands rock.

I also have been called 'the church without walls.' Why? Well.. when we hang out together as friends, believing Jesus and what he said he would do in our lives, encouraging one another, requesting rock songs via my email: thetorch@xmradio.com and stuff, we are having church. Where two or more are gathered we are rocking the gospel. That is cool with me - I hope its cool with you. Thanks for being a Torchbearer.

Peace,

XM 31 The Torch

To everyone who still misses The Torch--by all means, we still need to keep bugging XM to bring it back--in our cars, online, and on DirecTV. But in the meantime, here are two excellent rockin' Christian online stations that play the same music as The Torch did---these are RadioU and The Blast FM. Check 'em out! You can stream these stations online. But let's still also continue to keep writing and calling XM to tell them we want our Torch back! Amen! God bless! <3

From the small town of Jasper, GA, rises a powerhouse ministry dedicated to serving the unreached youth of America.

Preaching the Gospel message of Jesus Christ through the platform of Modern Rock music, Jeremiah, JJ, Keith, Jon and Nate have devoted their lives to serving Christ through The Well Experience.

Raising the bar on reaching outside of the four walls of the local church, TWX often plays at biker rallies, music venues and local nightclubs. However, you can also catch the boys leading worship at Sunday morning services, feeding the homeless and praying for thousands through their online ministry that reaches out to special needs teens and young adults.

It's not the incredible high energy show or the powerful music that drives TWX. It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the life changing freedom that it gives to those who repent and accept it. Jeremiah, JJ, Keith, Jon and Nate all invite you to learn more about this incredible ministry and be a part of the mighty work that God is doing through The Well Experience.

Hi

Thanks for making the Roy Moore 2010 governor unofficial, your friend. Spread the news that we need (moore)friends for Judge Moore. I don't think you will find a more honest man, we need more men like him in office. Feel free to contact me with any ideas that will help get him elected.

Thanks

I want Thomas and The Torch back on SiriusXM. I just saw the old Kiln web page and realized how much I miss this channel.

SiriusXM has brought channels and hosts back. Some they have given a few hours a day on another channel. Maybe Thomas could do a show called the Torch two hours a day?

I want the torch back online at 24/7 but that's a start.

I am going to cancel my XM unless The Torch comes back. I don't like all of the new changes. I am not happy:( Does anyone know where I can go to listen to music like the torch played? Maybe online... All I can find out where I live is rap garbage, hard rock with all the cussing and country. If not I guess I will be listening to country. At least it doesn't cuss.

Why did ya'll quit being on Diectv channel 829? Is it because of the merging of XM and SIRIUS radio? Are you gonna be on SIRIUS? Well, I hope ya'll get on another DTV channel cause I reall enjoy The Tourch. Ya'll play good music and I don't have or want XM.

Please people who did not listen to The Torch very much or at all, PLEASE STOP SUGGESTING WE JUST MOVE ON AND LISTEN TO SOME OTHER "CHRISTIAN ROCK" STATION WHERE THEIR IDEA OF HARD ROCK IS THIRD DAY AND CASTING CROWNS! I've got nothing against those artists but most stations that would play them WILL NOT play UnderOath,Thrice,Extol and the like.THERE ARE NOT MANY stations(especially ones available 24 hrs a day) that cater to Metalhead Christians and those who love Punk, Screamo, Experimental, and Alternative Rock AND JESUS. This is how some of WORSHIP GOD and stay connected to Him no matter what others seem to think. THE TORCH MATTERED. Quit saying to just get over it. It IS worth trying to save it.

OK, we all know that AM Radio won't handle our rock needs, but FM Radio will. Most markets have a Christian station that plays rock 24/7 or at least has a decent amount. My market has station by Christian group WayFM that I listen too (when I'm outside those walls that The Torch seemed to have). Sure it won't play acts like P.O.D. or Devil Wears Prada, but it has an awesome mix of Casting Crowns and Casting Crowns. We all love our MP3 playing devices (iPod or otherwise), and we already have them full of Christian artists, right? But to know what music to buy, iPods need a complement.

Which leads me to Internet Radio. There's tons of awesome Christian Online Stations out there. One I listen to is "fuel radio" (http://www. fuelradio. fm/). 94.3 faithFM (http://www. faithfm. org) has a four-and-a-half radio show call "Sundown" from midnight-4:30 (Eastern) that you can listen to online. You guys got any? Be sure to leave your comment.

And a note to Mr. Zellner (who I'm also emailing this comment to), I ended my email to you with "PLEASE Jon, get The Torch back on air, even if just back on DirecTV and online. Otherwise, I'm afraid that my time as a subscriber is done." Unless something changes between now and when I call XM tomorrow, me and my $13/month subscription are gone.

To The Torch bearers out there, "Rock on, Rock Loud, and most importantly, Rock for the Lord.
" Jah Love!
