Xmas Lights is now no more, there is a full statement on the blog. Thanks to any and all for your support over the years and we hope you enjoy the album as our little send off!
Six polite young chaps from Oxford, packing a less-than-polite blend of Hardcore, Math-Rock, Electronica, and pure noise, all occasionally opening up into vast Ambient soundscapes. Currently in the player are the brand-new album tracks Punctuation Marks, Salad Bar Sneeze Guard, and Electric Sheep from Xmas Lights' forthcoming debut album. The album is due out in November online internationally or can be purchased at any of the upcoming tour dates.
Xmas Lights were formed in 2004 and since then have played shows with the likes of Battles, Foals, Rolo Tomassi, Ghost Of A Thousand, Youthmovies, Johnny Truant and Cradle Of Filth.
Xmas Lights were also recently asked by BBC Introducing to record a version of the James Bond theme tune. This will appear on CD and online in October and is being sold in aid of Children In Need. It is all done and dusted now and will be well worth a listen, you know, for charidee!
