Six polite young chaps from Oxford, packing a less-than-polite blend of Hardcore, Math-Rock, Electronica, and pure noise, all occasionally opening up into vast Ambient soundscapes. Praised for their energetic, and tight live shows, Xmas Lights have earned themselves a large fanbase in various cities as well as their hometown.
Founded back in 2004 by guitarist James Gray King, Xmas Lights have spent the past four years writing, recoding, rehearsing, and performing. To date, they have released three EPs and recorded the forthcoming debut album. They've played many high profile shows, including gigs with Foals, Ghost Of A Thousand, Johnny Truant, and even supported Cradle Of Filth at their tour warm-up show last year.
The four years has also seen dramatic changes in the line-up, resulting in the band's ever-evolving sound.
Currently in the player are the brand-new tracks Punctuation Marks, Salad Bar Sneeze Guard, and Electric Sheep from Xmas Lights' forthcoming self-titled album.

i really dig the new song guys. love how you kept the the scream low tone and didnt let it dominate the mellow beat and guitars. great job. hopefully you guys will get big and be able to play a show or two out here in the US
