Finding cool old footage of my favorite bands from "back home" and making everyone I know watch it...
I like a lot of everything, but my first love will always be the Bay Area Punk/Hardcore I grew up with.
I have a weakness for both rockabilly/psychobilly AND Industrial. And polka. Anyone want to start an industrial punk-polka psychobilly band?
I listen to anything Trent Reznor or Tim Armstrong touches.
When I was a lil' kid, I wanted to grow up and be Brian May... or Charo. I had to settle for John Fahey
What else? See my friend list for more good music than you can shake a stick at (unless you want to get bit while shaking it)...I couldn't begin to start listing artists I listen to.
Movies
No chick films, please. Or at least bring your own damn kleenex. And bring extra for me. And smuggle me in some Mars bars. How come Saddam Hussein can get Mars bars hiding in a hole in the ground in the middle of Iraq, but I can't get one in Southern California? Are we trading all our Mars bars for oil and military bases again?
Television
TORCHWOOD AND DOCTOR WHO. Japanese Anime & the Monster Channel. Used to be addicted to crime shows, but this season sucks across the board. I go to IMF and YouTube to see any decent music videos. I love Discovery channel, NASA and National Geographic in HD. House, CSI, Law & Order, Full Metal Alchemist, Survivor.
Books
Many. Especially ones with pictures. If they don't already have pictures. I can fix that. WITH CRAYONS
Heroes
Grandpa Walter, Jacques Yves Cousteau, Jim Lovell, John Stropes, Ken Schwaub, Len Wein
Book cover, comicbook and game art; fantasy/scifi & fine art paintings; portraits; album, merch and backdrop design; POP-display art. Wizard's of The Coast, White Wolf Games, Eclipse Books, PETA, DC Comics, VIZ, AEG, Tower
Media, Grunge Comix
Spent over 4 years in a coma and had a huge part of my life erased from all memory. Yes. No kidding.
Who I'd like to meet: Art directors, editors, publishers, writers, comics or games companies, bands needing photography, illustrations, cover or album art, merch; persons who'd like to get a painting or print made for their own enjoyment. People who love or make good music.
This profile is for keeping track of my music & photography interests... fans & stalkers are welcome but might want to also add the Misery Punx fan space/street team (see friend list)

Never think you'll have enough time (later) to meet the people who've influenced you, affected you, inspired you, or filled your heart with passion or joy.
You'll turn away for a second and look back to find them dead, married, lost, or in violation of their parole.
