First of all, welcome to my page. I'm all for getting to know new people, so I'll happily add you as a friend, if that's what you'd like. But PLEASE, don't send me any of those animated graphics for comments, because I'll just deny them. I'm also not interested in any applications. Call me a nut, but those things tend to overwhelm profiles. So I just say no, LOL.
I'm an Internet consultant to the television industry. I worked for nearly 30 years in television news, and I'm trying now to help the business move to the Web.
After Alicia's death in 2006, I tried to restart my life with my old friend Bonnie. That really didn't work out, so I'm back to being alone. Actually, I'm kind of used to it by now, and while I'd love for it to be different, I'm comfortable with life as it is.
I have three amazing daughters: Jenny (36) is married and the mother of my four grandchildren, Mahmoud, Osamah, Tasneem and Sideen. They all live in Amman, Jordan. Brittany (22) graduated from the University of Alabama-Huntsville with a degree in marketing and now lives with me in Texas. She is the proud parent of Brandi-Fate (a.k.a. Booble E. Twads), a tiny, tiny miniature dachshund. Larissa (17) is a junior at Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama. She's a chip off the old block.
We live in Grapevine, Texas, with my faithful dog Piffy.
I've written four books and maintain a weblog (www.thepomoblog.com) on new media, television and postmodernism.
I think mySpace is a marvel of technology, and I'm proud to be a member.
Enjoy my Slide Show. I'll try to update it from time-to-time:

Hey Terry, all of us out here in MySpace Land have seen the tagged photo of you. It's great! Just remember, though, 'vengeance is mine, saith the Lord'....lol....JJ
Hang tough, guy, perhaps the best it yet to come? At any rate, I certainly hope so!! Always good luck to you, Terry, I think you deserve it!...JJ (hugs)
Under the circumstances, you sure know how to hang tough and be positive, Terry! Just remember that 50% is better than 0%. Good Luck and take care....JJ (hugs)
