Christoph Bull hails from Mannheim, Germany, and is now the University Organist at UCLA, Principal Organist at Santa Monica United Methodist Church, as well as an international concert organist and recording artist.
As an organist, pianist and singer-songwriter he is at home in both the classical and rock world.
In L.A., he has performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Royce Hall, Cathedral Of Our Lady Of The Angels, and First Congregational Church, but also at the Whisky A Go Go, the Viper Room, Cinespace and Hotel Café.
He has worked with the L.A. Master Chorale and Grammy-Award-winning Southwest Chamber Music, but also with Lili Haydn, Bootsy Collins, and George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic.
He collaborates with interpretive painter Norton Wisdom, various dancers, and videographers Benton C. Bainbridge and S. Video.
He has performed in India, Russia, Northern Ireland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, England,
Denmark, Germany and the U.S.
His original music is influenced by Fiona Apple, John Lennon, Elliott Smith, Billy Joel, Burt Bacharach, and Johann Sebastian Bach.
His classical pipe organ repertoire ranges from arrangements of Gregorian Chant to Bach, from Reger to Messiaen, and from arrangements of Morricone to Mingus.
