Friday August 1st:
5:30pm-Survivor Dinner (By invitation only)
6:30pm: Check-in, set up tent area
7:00pm: Opening Ceremony/Survivor Lap/start walkin!!
7:30-9:45-Activitie/Entertainment (live music, karaoke, bounce house, food, drawing for gift baskets, basketball, volleyball, Drive-in movie for the kids,Sweet & Sassy to do kids hair, FUN! FUN! FUN! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music!
10:00-Luminaria Ceremony
11:00-5:00-Quiet time, glow-in-the-dark games, Scene-It, massages, Guitar Hero, Movies
6:00am-Morning Yoga stretch
6:30am-Fight Back Ceremony
7:00am-closing ceremony/continental breakfast

Music
We are selling luminaria bags for $5. Decorate a bag for someone you love and be part of something extraordinary on August 1. If you have a picture of a survivor or someone you love who has lost the battle with cancer, please email it to me. We want to recognize them in our special slide-show. (Luminaria Ceremony. August 1st, 10:00pm)
Movies
We are having a "drive-in" for all the kids! Please decorate a large box for your car! We will be showing a movie and there will be plenty of popcorn and treats for purchase!

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who lives in the Riverton/Herriman/Bluffdale area who has been affected by Cancer--which is EVERYONE!! --Even if you're not from this area--COME OUT!! This year will be the first event for these cities!! It will be August 1-2, 2008, at Riverton City Park. (12800 So. 1400 W) from 5:30pm-8:00am.
There will be a tons of fun activities for EVERYONE!! Bring your tent and stay the night! Start forming teams today! http://events.cancer.org/rflrivertonut
The theme is "Lights, Camera, Take Action"--A Night With The Stars! . (-a movie/tv theme!) So get creative! You can decorate your campsite, or come dressed as your favorite movie/tv star! (You don't have to..!!) There will be prizes and many fun activites all night!
