The XOXO showcase is a collective initiative celebrating women in international music and rotates around the world's most exciting music festivals, venues and conferences.
With the support of the National Film and Sound Archive, New Found Frequency, Salt Studios and Audio Image we seek to contribute to the international stage to celebrate women in international music. Our *initiative concentrates on female soloists and female fronted bands to raise awareness and profiles of captivating international music and we're taking it to the world (literally). XOXO has showcased in Russia, Netherlands, Canada, USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Turkey and across Australia.
Essentially, XOXO along with our supporters, provides international artists with the platform to bravely head out and showcase their music around the globe while building an international profile and an ever growing network of music lovers. Our XOXO *showcase and *tour initiatives encourage artists to manage their own tour logistics outside of their festival showcase to ultimately make the whole experience their own!
This year the world music community will see the XOXO embark on new stages in territories rarely tapped into... all to be revealed soon!
