About me: My name's Kevin. I work in the travel industry. I get paid to engage in my favorite pastime: flying. I take people to and from LAX - and my office has a view that is always changing. My position is First Officer at a large, international airline. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Science from Utah Valley University.
I also spent two years as a flight instructor in Southern California, specializing in training Army helicopter pilots earning their fixed-wing (airplane) ratings, and, too, worked extensively with new-hire pilots at various Asian airlines seeking FAA standardized flight training curricula in the United States.
An avid sports fan, I have grown up watching and cheering for the Los Angeles Kings and the Los Angeles Dodgers. I listen to a wide-range of talk radio, both on the AM and FM bands. Among other things, I enjoy fine cigars, freshly-drawn espresso, traveling the world without the hindrance of airfare, skating and inline hockey, radio controlled models, reading, music (metal and classic rock,) dirtbiking, camping and the outdoors, nightlife in big cities, and tinkering with my investment portfolio. I Support The Air Line Pilots Association
Ratings Held: Commerical Pilot. Airplane Single and Multiengine Land. Instrument Airplane. SF-340 SIC Type Rating (SAAB 340). Certificated Flight Instructor: CFIIMEI.
Hey Kevin - Just checking in on you. Did you go on your cruise yet? :) I'm assuming you have not, or else you probably would have posted 800 bulletins about how awesome it was. ;) (Which I will read and be envious of you!)
holy shit Kevin, long time no see. Glad you are doing well in the airline business man! Ill be commissioned as a Marine Officer with a Naval Aviation contract, going through flight school next year...knocking out instrument and commercial rating this summer. How have you been?
When was the last time that happened? Crap, only 3.5 behind again. Maybe when Furcal is back they can pass the D-backs. D-backs definitely aren't the team that they were early on in the season. The Cubs are the ones to look out for now!
With Furcal back in the lineup, that'll at least balance out 1 shitty starting pitcher's game. If Billingsley and Kuroda keep it up while Lowe and Penny get to where they should be - they'll be the best team in the NL.
I am starting to think Houston is going to be tougher than Arizona.
