About: This singer/ songwriter is a unique and innovative artist whose strongly acoustic songs blend inventively with jazz, folk and rock genres. With a strong and soulful voice she searches the deep and the political, exploring such issues as consumerism, violence and modes of truth. Her songwriting is brave and seeking revolution through music that is at once both haunting and calming.
Name: The Child
Origin: Barcelona, Spain
About: The Child (formerly known as Espinas) is a Nick Schinder project, which has involved many different musicians from its origin, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1999. Since 2000 they have frequently performed in well reputed places of the city: The Cavern Club, Hard Rock Café, Hooters, Premier Theatre and many others in the country. The Child launched their third LP, Format Soul in January, 2005.
Name: Sir Roob
Origin: Dallas, Texas
About: Sir Roob is a true enigma of an artist and person. His music reflects the experiences of his compelling and often challenging life. As an MC, his verbal style has a virtually limitless flexibility, and his subject matter and choice of word-play is next to unique to say the least. "Roob" started his own recording company, RENASIANCE Recordings, in 2000; joined forces with Sound Odyssey Productions in 2001 and DVM Music in 2003. He has opened up performances for acts such as Houston-based Rapper-sensation and Superstar, Chamillionaire, as well as Scarred For Life recording artist, Twisted Black. Sir Roob is a hip-hop phenomenon that is not to be slept-on, and refuses to be denied his "highly skilled" recognition.

Origin: London, United Kingdom
About: Artisan grew up together in the same mid-Devon village. The acoustic duo combine rich vocal harmony, intricately-plucked guitars, double bass and spliced drums on their self-produced debut 'The Ag-Style EP'. Influenced by a wide range of singer-songwriters and bands, they've been compared to Simon & Garfunkel, Radiohead, Turin Brakes and Lamb. They continue to develop their new acoustic sound live and play regularly in London -recently supporting major influence Ben Christophers in London's Barfly Acoustic venue.
Name: Eldorado Rell
Origin: Atlanta, Georgia
About: Eldorado, 24, discovered his passion for rapping when he was only 16 years old. Since arriving in the ATL, he has won the "Jack the Rapper" contest and was a featured artist on the "Jack the Rapper" Mixtape Vol. 1. Eldorado has also featured on DJ Jelly's syndicated mix show "Dirty South Showdown", and "Best of R&B Part 7" cd. Additionally, "Rado has opened up for Nivea and Bad Boy rapper Loon. Eldorado will premiere in a hip hop documentary entitled "Starving Artists", which will chronicle the lives of upcoming rap artists as they strive to make it in the music industry.
Name: Stoned Emotion
Origin: Arvada, Colorado
About: Stoned Emotion formed in the spring of 2005. The group is led by singer/songwriter and lead guitarist Phil Dudden. Phil is joined by acoustic guitar player Jeff Hamm, bassist Karl Christopherson and drummer Charlie Briggs. The Colorado-based quartet features an accessible rock groove that draws comparisons to My Morning Jacket, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jackson Browne, Todd Rundgren, John Mayer and Pete Yorn, among others. The band's eponymous debut CD is a collection of songs inspired by sweet love. Dudden has penned hundreds of catchy, hook-laden songs and those featured on this freshman disc are some of his finest. Stoned Emotion covers music by classic and modern artists in addition to laying down its own arresting compositions.

About: Shayna Zaids' unique vibe and signature sound encompasses many worldly influences stemming from her childhood in Malaysia to her coming of age in the United States. Shaynas' soulful voice is unmistakably unique, powerful yet tender, strong yet sweet and mature beyond her years. She began performing at community functions at the age of six and by fourteen could be seen on stage in many local jazz clubs. . Always looking forward and growing on many artistic fronts, Shayna Zaid is positioning herself for a longstanding successful career in music.
Name: Chris Michael
Origin: Bronx, New York
About: Christen Michael, born September 29th 1983, was raised in The Bronx New York, and started his career at an early age dancing in local talent and school shows. At the age of 17 his career in dance began to evolve, when he got picked to dance on one of the top dance teams across the U.S. "Culture Shock". He then landed a roll on MTV's dance show "The Grind". MTV used him in numerous commercials, also appearing on VH-1's "8 Days Of The 80's". Chris' soothing, but strong voice as well as his energetic and sometimes risqué dance moves keeps the crowd wanting more. So it is evidently clear to anyone that knows or is watching him, that he truly loves performing and respects the art of it.
