Blurbs

About me:

OK, I'll admit it.
I'm an addict.
I mainline Poetry.
I know I'm weak,
but the temporary ecstasy is worth it.
I've even gone to Poets Anonymous meetings.
Just when I think I have left it behind,
I'll light up little lyrics of alliteration,
maybe lilt a limerick.
Next thing you know
I'm smoking a sonnet or sestina.
Its all down hill from there.
I end up all strung out on poems,
my mouth making metaphors,
hanging with my bad-boy Trouble.

Who I'd like to meet:

my maker for a long talk, but I'm satisfied with the glimpses at the moment. ("Lucy, you got some splaining to do!")

As far as MySpace Friends are concerned, the ones who have an interesting clever profile filled out including a photo. Of course, any kind of creative writing or artistic endeavor gets bonus points.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!

There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.

Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."

And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

Hello!  -  Sorry for being so impersonal…=)

Vincent here from the band Tortured Souls. Thanks so much for the friendship!  We are from Hollywood, California and with some flavors of Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, Lamb Of God and Rammstien, we think we have a pretty cool sound!.

Dichotomy and contrast haunt us at every turn: Darkness and Light, Damnation and Salvation, Masculine and Feminine. Tortured Souls captures these elements as modern, gothic metal infused with choir vocals, alternative rock, and an industrial edge.

New song PICTH BLACK is up!!! Lyrics are available on the Music Player as well and you can get some more info in the bio…Also have a Flag Counter so check out your flag and make it count!

P.S.... If you get a chance and feel like leaving a comment, please do!.. Even on our pics...=)

Thanks and hope you are having an amazing week! Take care, Vincent /Tortured Souls.

We've just put 2 new tracks up tonight and would love it if you could have a quick listen and let us know what you think of them.

I know this seems slightly generic but it really isn't, we'd seriously love to know what you think of the new tracks :)
