Bio
Mani Mostofi formed the band The Kill. They signed to Indecision Records but broke up before finishing their album (one member went on to briefly join Rise Against). His next project was called The Kill Pill, who played garage punk similar to International Noise Conspiracy, which featured Andy Hurley on drums. They released one EP on Uprising Records before breaking up. Mani has travelled to Palestine and Iran in more recent years and now lives in Texas, where he has furthered his academic pursuits. Brent Decker quit Racetraitor after converting to Islam; he moved to Bolivia where he worked on various relief projects, putting his actions where his politics had always been. He later returned to Chicago and formed The Love Movement with Dan Binaei. Dan Binaei was very briefly a member of Burn It Down while Racetraitor was still active. After the band split up he spent time in the group Arma Angelus with Pete Wentz. He relocated to California for a few years where he worked for Green Peace. He has since returned to Chicago to return to school where he rejoined forces with Decker. While Racetraitor was together, Andy Hurley played drums on the Vegan Reich EP "Jihad" on Uprising Records and, together with Binaei and Burn It Down's Ryan Downey, participated in the live lineup for the Vegan Reich reunion show in the late 90s. After Racetraitor disbanded he played in The Kill Pill before joining Fall Out Boy. Pete Wentz, a regular fill-in live member of Racetraitor, formed Arma Angelus with Binaei who released one full-length album on Happy Couples. After that band's dissolution he formed Fall Out Boy, who released an album and a split EP on Uprising before signing to Fueled By Ramen/ Island Records and conquering MTV's TRL. Eric Bartholomae spent roughly four years doing animal and earth activism in Chicago following the breakup of the band. In the fall of 2003 he moved to Minneapolis, MN. He has since put together a new musical projected called Willoughby. -
